I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bulstrode Pub, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience! The Indian food here is absolutely divine, especially their starters and main courses. The Chicken 65 was a flavor explosion, perfectly spiced and irresistibly crispy. The Kadai Paneer was another standout, with its rich, savory sauce and tender, juicy paneer – a dish that truly celebrates the essence of Indian cuisine.

Not only was the food exceptional, but the beverages also left a lasting impression. The beer selection is superb, easily some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The cocktails and mocktails were equally delightful, each one crafted with precision and bursting with flavor.

Bulstrode Pub is not just a place for adults; it's wonderfully family-friendly. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot to bring kids. My daughter had a blast playing at the pool table, which added a fun and engaging element to our visit.

If I could give no stars I would. I was recommended this pub by a local as it seems as I had just moved into the area with my daughter. After waiting a while for our food. My daughter’s kids meal which she chose nuggets and chips. There were only 4 nuggets and not even a handful of chips. There were literally 5 fries on the plate. I asked the guy who served us why was the portion size so small he said that’s how they serve it. With my meal itself. I ordered butter chicken and roti. The roti was oily and tiny and the chicken was salty but was it was fairly nice. I had no idea I would be paying huge amounts of money for such a small portion of food. I then went back to order another side order of rice to finish the chicken with. Then the man said I can’t order anything else for now. He then asked if I wanted to take the food back home (the remaining chicken). I said no swiftly left. I basically wasted money. What a waste of money especially as I was really hungry and the way the local had spoken about this place had my hopes high. For the rest of my time I’m living here I could be old I would never come here again. When people don’t take the value of money seriously and don’t give people what they pay for that’s a...

Be careful of the middle aged lady at the bar counter, very rude with specific customers.this lady was forcing me to say "Please" or she asked me to forget the order..but while clearing forgets her own rule .when I repeatedly asked a simple order, does not understand immediately and asks you to repeat in sarcasm . Also may comment on your education .. , may humelate , you ma get a racist welcome. The other young girl or other staff is just normal behaviour..I wrote an email to the bar contact information... But looks like she had full encouragement to vent her frustrated attitude on customers who come to spend some time from office to relax ,.. the lady also threatened me on top of that I am being re recorded , as if I was misbehaving.... Great ....Frustrate people and then threaten...... I am still approaching a leagel method to complain about this days behaviours , as the time record is on my bill. This is discrimination .... Spoilt my day off.... I'll never look at that Barr and will stop all my friends to go there......

I bet the owner is going to even bother an enquire,,, only I see his thank you on good...
