Restaurant Carpatica — Restaurant in London

I recently hosted my baby boy's baptism at Restaurant Carpatica, and I am incredibly disappointed with the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff displayed unprofessional behaviour that left us feeling unwelcome. Not only were they rude, but they also seemed disorganised and unprepared for our event. Our guests were left waiting for extended periods without no food and drinks , and when we raised our concerns, the staff responded with a dismissive attitude rather than offering assistance or solutions. When we raised our concern they come back by saying it is our own fault about everything they actually never admitted it was them fault by being very bad organised and also having short staff. When we signed our contract between parts we been told something and on the day it was totally different and when we spoken to the owner she had a disrespectful act to call us liars even though she was one of them telling us with a previous night the rules that we been discussed with her staff previously to and on the day she never admitted they might be wrong she had always her bad attitude even though from our part we done everything properly and paid until last penny. It's disheartening to have such an important occasion marred by poor service. I expected a level of professionalism for a family celebration, but unfortunately, Restaurant Carpatica did not deliver at all!! We will not be returning and cannot recommend this place for any special...

The meal i wanted perfectly matched what i needed and was delicious.. I was going to give 3 stars but i give 2 for the simple reason of paying 1£ for a small ramekin of MAYONNAISE, which it shouldn't be priced so it doesn't make sense giving especially 1£, other restaurants don't do that. The most important thing, lacks of hospitality: I was waiter as well so what i know is that hospitality should be 51%, service 49% and i can honestly say that hospitality is below 40% which, i repeat, is very important in this kind of job, waiters need more training such as wearing a face covering since 19th of July didn't come yet, giving more attention on their behaviour when speaking to customers, they should learn how to wait if customers are not ready to order when is not even 8pm instead of asking to take order every freaking 5 minutes (closing time 10pm on Sunday). I thank you for the food, but next time I'll just cook at home in a better...

I visited here with my partner and daughter for dinner. I ordered sarmale with mamaliga and smantana. My partner ordered a pork dish with chips. The sarmale was not edible. It was like chewing on pure salt and tasted old. So I left it, only eating some of the mamaliga (which was a bit solid). My partner said the pork dish was fine, but nothing particularly special. The atmosphere was ridiculously loud, we couldn't really talk at all. Then the bill came. Don't be fooled by the menu prices...they charge for everything on your plate, even though it comes together. The "Sarmale cu mamaliga si smantana" will show one price on the menu. On the bill will be that price, plus the price of the mamaliga and the price of smantana added on extra...really shocking. They also put through that 8 jack Daniel and colas were ordered...2 were ordered. Have your wits about you here, or just don't come. I left most of my food because...
