Visited their Camden branch on 11-09-2023, prior to an event at the Jazz Cafè
Food ordered:
Dakgangjeong Вар + Boiled Egg (Extra)
This was a huge let down. The rice was stale and not fresh. The sauce of the chicken had sunk to the bottom. Some of the Dakganfjeong chicken was dry and the batter was not the best I’ve had. I was expecting the boiled egg to be at least marinated in soy sauce or some sort of Korean condiment.
Stupid Cheese Burger
The chicken is not that crispy, the salad was fresh but the cheese sauce was a let down. There’s mayo which made it watery somehow. A real let down of a Korean Fried Chicken burger.
They do have other items. The popular being Corn Dogs. Additionally to this, they have their own Bubble Tea & Fruit Tea too.
To get here. You may get the Northern Line (Bank Branch) from King’s Cross.
Or if commuting by bus, either the following buses: 29, 41, 134
Will get you there.
The customer service was okay. The tables were dirty and took time to get cleaned.
Somewhat of a disappointment. If I’m near Charing Cross, may try that branch and see how it differs to this branch.
There appears to be no toilet for this establishment. Which I find a little strange. As for a size of this restaurant, they’re meant to facilitate this.
They accept Cash & Contactless Pay
Not in rush to come back.
Their Corn Dogs seem to be attractive for tourists and Instagram...
Read moreBunsik, located in the heart of Camden, London, is a must-visit spot for anyone craving authentic Korean street food. This cozy eatery effortlessly blends tradition with a modern twist, and nowhere is this more evident than in their iconic corn dogs.
The corn dogs at Bunsik are nothing short of exceptional. Each one is expertly crafted, featuring a perfectly crispy, golden-brown batter that encases a variety of fillings. Whether you choose the classic mozzarella, a combination of sausage and cheese, or one of their unique options, every bite is a delightful mix of crunch and melt-in-your-mouth flavor.
The attention to detail extends to the toppings, with choices such as sugar, ketchup, and mustard that enhance the experience and let you tailor the flavors to your liking. The batter itself strikes a perfect balance between lightness and taste, ensuring that the corn dog isn't overly greasy but still satisfying.

Read moreSummary: Really enjoyed this place. Smiley staff, fast service, fine prices.
However, they need to sort out their bin situation. The place smells of bins, especially near the self-service kiosk where bins and rubbish are clearly visible at the foot of the stairs and the smell uppercuts your nose as you order and near the seating area opposite the kitchen.
Simple menu and most of the items we ordered were executed well.
Corndogs: Both the beef and the potato variations were done well. The beef version allows a few different sauces like korean mayo, mustard etc. They are a solid portion and filling.
Ddukbokki (Tteokbokki): Ordered the rosè version which is less spicy than the standard flavour but is also creamier in texture. This was the best item. They serve it warm not piping hot so its ready to scoff down from the get go.
Chicken Burger: Average burger and weakest item ordered. This was made worse by stiffing such cold salad that turned parts of the chicken...
