AWFUL service and dangerous for allergy sufferers. Not vegan friendly at all. I ordered a "Lemon and Ginger" tea from the menu and tasted honey in it. I checked with the person at the till, a woman named Emma who is also apparently the manager, and she confirmed that it did indeed contain honey, which was distressing as I'm vegan. I asked why it wasn't described as containing honey on the menu and was told that I should have declared that I was vegan. No apology. To avoid an argument I asked what the solution would be. Emma suggested a mint tea as she wasn't certain that even the Chamomile was vegan. It was concerning that Emma had no idea what each tea contained. My mint tea arrived and I could see from the teabag and tell from the taste that this definitely wasn't mint tea. I suspected it was peppermint and licorice, but again went to the till to speak with Emma, who was adamant that it was just mint before busying herself behind the till ignoring my presence. Needless to say I didn't trust her. The way she so stubbornly insisted what she had served me was mint when it was in fact not was hugely concerning. My friend and I decided not to stay, but were still charged for both teas. The worst service I've experienced in a very long time. So many lovely cafes in the area, go to one of those instead!

Café Del Ray is a lovely find right by Putney Bridge. The location is lively and full of charm — perfect for a relaxed morning or a quick bite before a walk by the river. Breakfast here is a highlight. Everything tastes fresh and homemade, and the fresh orange juice is a must — so refreshing and full of flavor. The coffee is just as good, smooth and well made. The staff are genuinely kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area!

Quaint little cafe on the street. It caught my attention since every time I walk pass, there are always locals sitting outside with coffee and just chilling. Had English breakfast and a latte, coffee is pretty good. The food is a bit too oily and salty to my taste, although perhaps it’s just how an English breakfast is. The cafe is pretty clean and well-decorated. A nice place to sit and take a break.
