This locally owned café is an independent gem and they run a cake-decorating business too, you can see the fantastic designs in a photograph album on the counter.
The couple who run it were greeting regulars in Italian and were equally friendly to us in English. They offer a wonderful selection of fresh food and deli items.
We sat in two comfy chairs facing a very sunny window that was too bright in our eyes at times - it may help to have some half-height blinds that can block the sun at its brightest spot while still letting in plenty of light. We were lucky to get the last seats as the café is small and popular.

They are so accommodating that when I craved their delicious homemade soups in the summer, they’d make a pot specifically because I requested it! It’s so good I’d order 2 portions for lunch then take 2 home for dinner! Not kidding! Every soup they make is vegetarian and so amazing and perfectly seasoned. Read moreThis café is a hidden gem of London. Its interior is small and cute, transmitting an artistic, calming and lovely atmosphere, from the name to the products... Everything is amazing. I feel I am given such a nice experience everytime I go and the money is well spent. I even started drawing with the jazzy music on the background and felt like at home.
Everyone has been genuinely nice andtreated me right always as well.
