It's one of my favourite places in the whole London, luckily I live nearby. It feels like time is running slower inside than outside. Quiet and carefully selected relaxing music add some subtle magic in the air and the overall surrounding atmosphere, including comfy chairs, warm and professionally coordinated colours and light, smell of coffee beans - it all makes me feel so comfortable and relaxed that I also want to slow my pace and enjoy and feel the moment. As normal life is running so fast, I do appreciate I can put all the rush on little pause when I'm at this café. In additon I would love to thank all the staff working there as they are amazing, appreciate they remember not only the coffee I usually order but also a temperature. Some personnel who don't fit in to this atmosphere normally leave quite quickly. Another pleasant thing to me in this café is that I've never seen any conflicts or very loud people at the café, instead I enjoy looking at the relaxed and peaceful faces of the guests. Just grabbed my coffee there and felt all these warm emotions again and could not leave without adding...
Read moreI am a regular customer when it comes to Caffè Nero and it was my first time going to this branch. My experience so far in other branches before my visit to this cafe was always pleasant and very welcoming. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the attitude I was shown by one of the staff members today. After waiting no longer than 5 mins for someone at this cafe, I was approached by a staff member who said "I f you want to sit here you have to buy something, otherwise I'm going to have to make you leave." I then went to the counter and asked them...
Took a minute or so in total between the two "I'm new here " staff member and what I would only presume was a manager or overseer that discussing what I'm asking for ..after that they just turned away so I said I've just used your toilet and need soap To wash my hands fairly loudly as they both turned back. The 'manager ' (still looking puzzled ) said she'd go check to which she disappeared into the room behind the counter for some moments, came out, bent down behind the counter (whilst the newbie looking at her whilst dealing with another lady and gent at the counter) onlyor the' manager' to stand up after 30 seconds and say. "No"
I said you you mean you have NO soap?! How do I wash my hands?
She responded "sorry "
So I'm curious
I had to go to another establishment To wash my hands...
