Caffè Nero — Restaurant in London

The staff do what they can but are overworked.

In my dozen or so visits there have generally been one or two baristas serving a long queue while looking quite stressed and unhappy. As a result, while the coffee and food are fine, the presentation and cleanliness are abysmal. Tables are consistently piled high with rubbish.

Other reviews have mentioned the lack of cleanliness but haven't identified the cause: the staff are not lazy or slow, there are simply not enough of them. They are barely enough to fulfil the orders but not enough to keep the café presentable.

Nero needs to stop cutting corners and hire more staff, otherwise the overall experience will remain sub par. Only the good location...

Where do I start about this visit 😭? Let's begin with the tolerable - the pistachio cake 🍰 was passable yet stale and clearly old, the cappuccino one tasted like a forgotten slice of the cheapest one in Iceland and the latte was nothing to write home about. Yet what made the experience unforgettable in a bad way was one of the entrance doors we were sitting next to being swayed all of the time by the piercing cold wind to the disgust of/hopeless efforts to fix it of pretty much every customer. Service provided today was horrible I have asked for an iced pistachio and caramel drink, I specified that needs to be decaf and with soya milk , I have got a regular hot latte instead. When I said I wanted to have the iced drink , the girl at the counter was annoyed and unhappy with my request

She gave me the iced drink, but this was not as requested , decaf with soy milk . I can not have any drinks with caffeine due to health issues and I still got that
