Cappuccino Arts Cafe — Restaurant in London

The cafe is a nice place in a convenient location from the high street or train station. Their menu gives you more options than the competitive ones. Prices are a bit high as a breakfast with a drink costs you around £10-£12 depending on your order, which is a bit higher than expected for this type of cafés. Breakfast was good. Nothing special or beyond ordinary, but not bad at all.The most important thing for me as a coffee lover/ expert , the Espresso tasted like a filter coffee! 🙁 The owner was a friendly lovely guy,although staff were not as welcoming as himself! 😅 They made a mistake about my order, and when I explained it, they were not apologetic about it NOR offering me to redo it or anything, which I didn’t find it helpful towards hosting. Another annoying thing was,as soon as we finished eating,they came to the table and took away everything! While all the other tables were not occupied and we were the only customers at that time, so I didn’t understand the reason for rush. 😅 In general, the food was nice, atmosphere not great, prices a bit high. Been here a few times and usually it's always been nice, but the last 2/3 occasions the service quality has dropped dramatically, these really nice people are making so many mistakes it starts to go beyond a joke.

On this occasion they gave our order to someone else next to us, and it sat with them for a good few minutes. Then after a few back and forwards with another colleague they discovered it was wrong, then they took our food probably chucked it in the microwave and handed it to us.

Only real issue with my English breakfast was the eggs was not cooked enough, and they were cold.

Please managers get your cafe organised when serving tables, too many workers trying to serve the same table asking the same thing.

Also have an option on your tablet when taking orders about how the customer wants their eggs, well done or soft and so on.

Here is the thing I never write a bad review unless I'm really disappointed but this is the time now... I visit this place regularly before about 15 times.. I had jacket potato with bacon avocado few times.. Today I noticed the chef is new and its showed on the quality of my meal.. There was barely avocado on my meal it was basically almost a plate of potato.. A tiny bit of avocado with a touch of mayo and a, sprinkle of bacon and chicken... For almost a 10 quid breakfast as it was much better dosh before I was a bit dissapointed.. Also charged 1 quid for some cheese which they put almost nothing on top as garnish.. I understand there was covid and you renovated the place but you shouldn't make your money back by cutting of ingredients of the dishes.. Its unfair.. Anyway good luck I won't be back...
