Review:
I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Le Fez nightclub, where I witnessed the most appalling display of prejudice and discrimination. It is with great disappointment that I recount the incidents that occurred, revealing the club's disgraceful policy of not allowing entry to six brown guys, despite the fact that we had done nothing wrong. Plus to add we paid for our tickets in advance
To say that my friends and I felt unwelcome would be an understatement. It was clear from the moment we approached the door that our experience at Le Fez would be marred by biased treatment. While observing drunk girls being ushered inside without question and equal-sized groups of white guys gaining easy access, we were left feeling marginalized and discriminated against solely based on our skin color.
It is deeply disheartening that Le Fez blatantly discriminates against individuals solely on the basis of their racial background. Our group posed no threat and intended to enjoy ourselves responsibly, just like any other patrons. However, it seemed that the bouncers' primary criterion for entry was the color of our skin, rather than ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
Furthermore, this blatant discrimination raises important questions about Le Fez's commitment to equality and fairness. Shouldn't every individual, regardless of their race, be granted the same opportunity to enjoy a night out at a nightclub? It is distressing to realize that Le Fez holds a double standard, conveniently allowing certain patrons entry while disregarding others based on unjustifiable criteria.
As an establishment that prides itself on being a nightlife destination, Le Fez's discriminatory practices utterly tarnish its reputation. By rejecting patrons solely based on race, the club promotes divisiveness and perpetuates harmful stereotypes that have no place in a diverse and inclusive society.
In conclusion, my experience at Le Fez was marred by blatant discrimination against my group of six brown guys. It is deeply disheartening to witness a nightclub denying entry to individuals solely based on their race, while clearly privileging white guys and even allowing inebriated girls without concern. Such practices have no place in a modern society, and it is my hope that Le Fez acknowledges and rectifies this shameful behavior to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons, regardless of their skin color...
Read moreThe worst place to go, i wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, the club looks disorganised, the bouncers are useless there are ALWAYS fights and they never do anything. The staff drink on shift, seen the staff get drunk, i believe the managers well they looks like the manager one of them wears a suit and he has an accent and the other one looks asian, they drink so much on shift it’s always shots they have then they drink more and more from Bourbon to Jack Daniels. That work place is a mess no wonder they take so long to make drinks that place needs to get shut down! I see managers talking to staff like they are trash. The day i went to LeFez asked for hot water for my friend as she needed to take her herbal tea, they didn’t even have hot water, Fez should be shut down especially because they have no hot water and also because all the managers and staff do is drink and get wasted. If you don’t believe me maybe check the CCTV footage. My friends has come into the club before they paid for their drinks then the staff said that she didn’t, she decided that she will report them because they have staff and managers getting drunk, so i am not the only person who has seen this unprofessional disgraceful behaviour. I will NEVER be returning to Le Fez and i hope they get closed down for being the worst nightclub...
Read moreI used to be a big fan of Le fez, however after last night my appetite for going back there has diminished.
Le fez is a great bar/club and full of nice staff overall, yet the man in the male wc last night was horrible.
I went to the loo, and begin a friendly chat with him. After a general how are you, he then demanded that I empty my pockets and put my money on his tray. I looked at him funny because I was astonished at how rude he was. Then he grabbed my wrist and said that my watch was cheap. I know Putney is a nice area but I’d have thought that staff members would care less about what watch people are wearing.
This is when the worst bit of night took place. I told him that the watch was from my father, who died earlier in the year and that the watch was a present from him. He then said “good, I’m glad he died”
Sure I was drunk and maybe he was having a bad night but saying someone’s father should have died, is frankly appalling and I am thoroughly unimpressed at this man’s conduct. Le fez needs to ensure that because people are drunk doesn’t mean staff can say unprovoked awful things about people. This is enough to make me never want to return. I urge people to heed the warning this man is not very nice and Le fez has lost a customer who overall enjoyed attending their...
