I ordered a chicken Katsu curry and asked the member serving me that for my daughter who has allergies I am after plain noodles. I was informed that they only have noodles with mixed style vegetables. Yet This was not the case at all! Upon plating out the food for my little girl it came to my surprise that in fact there was half an onion sliced and put in with these so called “vegetable Yakisoba noodles” Bearing in mind I paid nearly £8 alone just for this since it was the only thing my daughter could eat. I asked to speak to the manager who was very abrupt and rude when I asked why this is called vegetable noodles when it fact it’s just filled with sliced onions he then rudely responded onion is a vegetable! But in the picture it shows peppers and some other bits which were none to be seen. I explained that, you should just mention onion noodles since his colleague who served me mentioned to me mixed vegetables style noodle has in fact mislead me.

He then was laughing and being sarcastic towards me and saying what you want me to do for you. I said the right thing to do would be to not mislead me in the first place and to refund me. He refused and said there is nothing else I can say now and he could see I was holding all the onions which I separated in the lid in one hand.

After I sensed his lack of professionalism and customer care and I did not want to create anymore upset for my daughter I packed my things with my two little kids and left! I will also not be returning either. This was my local branch and I have been a loyal customer since their opening but since all they care about is taking money and not respecting customers and what is seen/chosen from their menu it’s best I save myself getting stressed and having my day...

Was in store today order two curry chicken was given two sweet chilly chicken (I hope that's the correct one), I suppose that's what it was... I have never ordered from this company before... There was no marking on their ordering board on how spicy the food was nor was advised by a member of staff how spicy it would be... I eat spicy food however this one was in a different league, my internals are still burning from this. I Called the store to express my dissatisfaction, I was met with training lessons on how to order rather than tell me what would be appropriate for me to order order next time. She finally agreed to for me return the food... When I arrive was again met with I can't give this portion because the food had been eaten. Yes it had been eaten to less than 10%. The person I dealt with told me she can't give me what I wanted, she ended choosing for me, I accepted this only to find out that the food she has given me test completely bland with no flavor at all. I wanted a curry as I initially asked she said no. I am somewhat really disappointed due to the fact that not just I had to pay nearly £13 for both meals and also paid for parking twice not to mention my petrol.... I will not recommend this store at all and perhaps learn from my mistake and the lack information given at the till point was non existent... It's shame I couldn't give minus...

I recently decided to try Kokoro, a popular Asian fast-casual eatery in the UK, and it turned out to be a fantastic dining experience. As someone who appreciates both speed and taste, Kokoro seemed like the perfect choice for a quick yet satisfying meal.

Upon entering, I was greeted by a clean and inviting atmosphere. The menu, offering a variety of Asian dishes, made it easy to find something appealing. I opted for a chicken katsu curry and some sushi rolls, eager to see if the flavors lived up to the hype.

The service was impressively quick. In no time, I had my meal ready to enjoy. The chicken katsu curry was delicious, featuring crispy, tender chicken paired with a rich, flavorful curry sauce. The portion size was generous, and every bite was a delightful mix of textures and tastes.

One thing that stood out during my visit was the friendly and efficient staff. They ensured that the dining area was clean and promptly addressed any customer needs, making the overall experience pleasant and hassle-free.

Kokoro offers a winning combination of quick service and tasty food, making it an excellent choice for a convenient and enjoyable meal. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty curry or some fresh sushi, Kokoro is a spot worth visiting for its delicious offerings and...

Go for the chicken katsu, skip the yakisoba. Don’t make the mistake of going for their yakisoba. That was what I started with and it was downright disappointing. It was noodles with sauce plus a sliver of raw onions and carrots. I didn’t expect amazing noodles but this one fell so low on the radar, eating it made me feel cheated and angry at the same time. That said, there were redeeming factors. The chicken katsu was great. The chicken was piping hot and crispy and the sauce was decent. Service was also quick if not a little chaotic. Would go back for the chicken katsu and only that.

Kokoro is a decent Asian food chain. I’ve eaten at this one and others a few times over the years. They do a good katsu curry. I had a bento box which had salmon nigiri one one side and chicken katsu the other. The mix of hot and cold food was a bit odd but individually they different elements were fine. Service was fine, new guy needed some help but I won’t blame him for being new. Quite a bit of space if you want to eat in. Tables and chairs are functional and not built for comfort. Good to takeaway. Will probably go back as it’s generally convenience food for me.

Sushi was decent enough, other than some of the salmon pieces were the fatty end on the salmon, not the bits of salmon I would eat. I decided to take it to the counter and mention it, they swapped the whole box for a new one (I’d have been happy enough if they had just swapped the pieces I felt didn’t come up to standard), anyway, the problem was resolved quickly. There’s sushi and hot dishes, I didn’t try the hot dishes. I like the was that they don’t charge more for sitting in as some places do.
