Extremely disappointed. We placed an order at 5:30pm, scheduling delivery for 8:10pm latest via Deliveroo. It is now 8:40pm and we still have no food. I called the restaurant at least 34 times as the driver had been standing there for close to an hour. My call was only answered once with the person on the other end promising the food was being despatched. Clearly this was not the case as 40 minutes later the food had not arrived (so almost 4 hours after the initial order was placed). Extremely disappointed as we are regular customers of cheatmeals and this was a meal for a fasting family. Update: food arrived at 9pm. Update- NOV 22- huge drop in meat quality which was mainly cartilage, scrap meats and unpleasant tastes, as someone who was a big fan but haven’t eaten the burger in around a year this is a shock to me. I won’t unfortunately be eating here again, as with a lot of companies that start to become a success tampering with the cost of ingredients to improve profits is a business killer and I can see that this has happened here, I also ordered a sauce which was meant to be similar to the chipotle sauce that I as so popular however even though I paid for it the sauce was a watered down version with a half full dip tub not even worth the 30p for it. Read moreOrdered through ubereats a Mexican beef burger and requested it to be well done. The beef came back rare, and clearly not edible. When I spoke to the phone with cheatmeals, the person on the phone said that he did it himself and he disagrees with me. I told him that I can send a photo for him to see, and he refused so. He kept saying that he's sorry but then repeated that he disagrees with me. Clearly he doesn't understand what sorry means and he didn't gave me a resolution to the problem. No customer service skills. When I asked for his name, he refused to give his name and hang up on me several times and has put the phone on busy so I can't call back.
