Chef’s Delight — Restaurant in London

I had to edit my review because after being a customer for around 9 years I can’t believe this would happen to me at a place that I felt so comfortable coming to.

Earlier this year I had left my AirPods Pro at this cafe. I returned back to ask if they had been left whilst I was eating and was told nothing was found. I have been to this place many times after this happened.

Turns out the waitress robbed my AirPods and failed to return them. She’s smiled in my face for ages knowing this whole time she stole from me. My AirPods Pro showed her exact location, to my surprise I arrive at this location and it’s her home address and she opens the door. My AirPods had a notification saying they were found, clearly she has them, I have escalated this onto the police. It doesn’t take much to be honest as this was a gift given to me. I don’t know who’s the manager in this place but I will appreciate if someone could contact me.

Extremely disappointed as me & my family have been loyal customers for YEARS!

I returned last weekend to try and see if maybe she will come to her senses. I heard her talking to other colleagues saying that we are not welcome but continue to serve me food. The only reason I did not cause a scene is because the place had customers already eating but there was no need for the comments.

Serving me eggs with eggshells and a dramatic reduction in portion.

This is a place that robs from customers and I tried to be understanding as I did not want to get the authorities involved but I have been left...

Dined here on Saturday afternoon 26th April with 2 companions, one visiting up from Portsmouth. We received the best, friendliest service from the lady owner of the restaurant/cafe who also cooked our meals. The place was spotlessly clean and the food absolutely delicous and suited our basic needs......the home made apple crumble with either custard or cream was beautiful. We can wholeheartedly recommend Chefs Delight and will definitely frequent there when needs must. My friend visiting from Portsmouth couldn't believe how good the meal was and how gracious our hosts were.......especially for her liking of extra tea bags in her tea!!!...........the lady owner will remember us now!!!!........we give it a top...

IT IS AMAZING. My favourite restaurant. Super kind and helpful staff. Great food. Great beans and chips. I recommend the Chefs Breakfast 🍳. I went there today and they had two cute kids helping out. The chef is super kind and just a great person. Love all the jerseys hanging on the wall. Definitely recommend...
