Now… I have been here before and had a Chicken suya and jellof and it was delicious!!! After a moment I ordered a chicken tozo shawarma wrap with plantain.. thank the lord I ordered with plantain lol I told the nice lady my bus was coming and it it’ll be ready, she said yes and got to it. She wrapped it up just as my bus came and I was delighted and thanked her quickly. Once I sat down and bit in it this wrap I was like.. “WOOOOOOW… 😁THIS IS FIRE 🔥” and I bit again into some plantain and it was AMAZINGLY fiery and sweet!!! Definitely 10/10!!! Read moreA few years ago I visited this place and was pleasantly surprised. The food was grilled over charcoal to order and the owner took pride saying his lineage is known for making the best suya in his country.
Today I entered and was happy to see the place was refurbished. I asked the staff what the portion size was for the £11 suya. He showed me a paper parcel which was small and filled with what I thought was raw marinated meat, I asked how long it will take to cook? He said it will be ready in 3 minutes.
I thought this was quick so I hesitantly agreed despite the small portion size.
I opened my bag of food and realised the parcel he showed me full of what I thought was raw meat was actually precooked suya. And the 3 minutes cook time was time spent in the microwave!
