Corner Fish Bar — Restaurant in London

This fish and chip shop is the best I have ever had. Mummy and Daddy (that's what I call them as a sign of respect) work incredibly hard!

This shop has never had an off day in the sense the quality of the food is ALWAYS impeccable and hot!

I haven't lived near the shop (I used to live 30mins away) or near the area for about 13 years (now live in Bromley) and when I get home the food is STILL hot!

I have tried numerous other fish n chip shops around London. The other chip shop chips look sublime. I taste/eat it and they are bland despite copious amount of salt and vinegar being on them. I asked Mummy and Daddy why that was. They did tell me, but I'm not trying to downgrade other establishments.

All i know is Corner Fish...

The best fish and chip shop there is, hands down. The Taiwanese family who run it are so friendly - even when I say I don't want any chips I always find a few tucked into my parcel of fish - and the food is always delicious. Chips are just the best ever and the batter on the fish just perfect. Much cheaper than other chippies in the area yet so much better. Whenever our street has one of its Friday Night Fish Nights the shop always has our preorder exactly right and all freshly cooked for when we collect, with a few extras thrown in free....

I don't order from here enough, the times I have had been brilliant. Everything is freshly prepared and cooked perfectly in fresh oil and with fresh ingredients. The chips are some of the best chips I've ever had and are so morish you'll be knocking back an entire large portion without even noticing it. Pleasingly they also do smaller portions of battered fish which is good for those like me that tend to get a little overwhelmed by too much deep fried stuff, however, I would probably be totally fine with a large portion as the batter is so...
