Chopstix - Romford — Restaurant in London

I visited here with my daughter on a Saturday around 12 o'clock.

The place was very clean and tidy, very good lighting and spacious.

While we were waiting to order I saw the chef cook the chow mien for all of 2 mins, we should have left at that point but I just wanted to at least try the food for myself, and now I honestly wished I didn't.

We ordered a large and small portion. The prices are extortionate to the portion sizes and the food tasted terrible, one of the worst I have ever tasted.

The chow mein was bland as expected, no flavour whatsoever. The rice was just as bad and hard and the spring rolls were clearly store-bought, again tasteless.

I will not be going back and do not recommend anyone to visit here unless you want to waste...

Terrible, terrible terrible

I came here and wanted a medium rice with chicken. Firstly, there was no rice in the machine. Apparently it’s broken so I could only get noodles I ordered a medium meal, sweet-and-sour chicken and barbecue to take time to my son.

OMG when I got home, the box head six pieces of only. The noodles over salty so much to the point my son couldn’t eat it.

Can you play £7.29 for a meal, I expect more than this. This brand used to be great, but unfortunately it’s really gone downhill. Such a shame for £7.29. I would expect a lot more specially when you can’t even get the rice that you wanted. This is not a casual dining or QSR anymore. It’s a rip off. Will not be...

I ordered takeaway here twice via uber.. both times i was given the wrong toppings. First time i was given wrong toppings and 2 other missing items. Second time katsu curry missing. I never got my katsu curry both times .. not sure why?! No option to write notes on uber either. And oh no cutlery sent. I would have liked chopsticks? First time i tried chopstix was Westfield Stratford it was a positive experience. Here Sadly as close as it is to me I won’t be ordering again!
