Its the second time im there and last. The fact thats cheap its just not worthy. Pizzas and garlic bread as thin as a tortilla. Cold. The waitress ( young girl) basically throwing the plates on the table. The lady that came to pick up the table, rudely checking if we paid before (we paid through the app). The cutlery was dirty, they replaced them. Have to add it was at 12pm, not a busy time. Also that we were a group of 4 ladies that work in customer service, not just picky customers.

Breakfast at Wetherspoon it’s always good, can’t go wrong with that. It was super busy, even though it was morning, but found a table, and staff were very friendly. Always grateful when I find a Wetherspoon wherever I’m going, because I know that a good breakfast deal is covered! However very odd part about this one, is that they have cameras at the restrooms. Big NO NO! I’m aware it’s for safety etc, but have cameras outside, not inside, invading our privacy.

Place is a little rough, not as bad as other places in London. Food is always bang on, service is okay. Due to customers being a little on the Cockney side a couple of staff have a little attitude. Matt Damon wish he was walks around the floor like Conor Mgregor, slamming drinks down in the tables and cocky behind the bar. Real chip on his shoulder that one. Apart from that thumbs up for another great Spoons

I've been putting off writing this review about my last week's experience at this pub, but have decided to pluck up the courage and leave it here in hope to prevent someone else experiencing the same shenanigans. Firstly, I'd like to say that this matter will be going further as both my partner and I who suffer with complex mental health and learning disabilities were ridiculed and discriminated against by the so-called management of the pub. Things would not have escalated if they just listened. Whilst I struggle with dealing with a lot of social situations, I was trying to regulate my partner's emotional state at the same time. It all started when some idiot decided to pester my husband in the toilet to buy crack cocaine and when my partner refused, it got a little loud. He felt targeted and unsafe by the staff for expressing to them about this absurd criminal behaviour in the toilets in broad daylight on a Wednesday afternoon. The staff were dismissive of this and my partner couldn't deal with it, so whilst I bought him a pint of Guinness to calm him down (which worked!) we were soon faced with another set of problems. Three bar staff were constantly staring at us, laughing and pointing. Even I then began to feel so uneasy that I had a panic attack. After 15 minutes of ordering the Guinness, a camp-looking hipster barman appeared and boomed "we have to remove this drink from you!" - this behaviour confused us, as it was a delayed response in relation to the commotion in the toilets prior. My husband, being an Irishman was not impressed and was forced to down his whole pint to save me from being robbed of £3 or £4. The barman proceeded to then make disgusting comments such as "you are all the same" and "pathetic paddy" — we find this extremely racist and offensive and not acceptable, hence why we'll be taking this further. Stay away from here if you're Irish, even if they lure you in with St Patrick's Day celebrations! After the barman had his critical bashing with us, my anxiety was through the roof, especially seeing my partner try to explain he is hard of hearing, and has special needs and the barman totally disregarding these - the barman proceeded to give us life bans for being loud and challenging him. Due to this sensory overload, I threw some remaining ale that was in a glass over the barman and we grabbed our things and left... only to then be confronted by some passing police officers who were left just as...

Unhygienic & Dirty, I always thought that you had to pass certain food & hygiene standard to serve food... Staff look unwashed, scruffy, some of the management are very rude.. Pub itself is always unclean, tables need a good wash, bar area always untidy, absolutely filthy dirty pub.. Defiantly need some new staff who actually care about their jobs and the establishment they work and who understand that you need to wash your skin & comb your hair before you arrive at work.. I waited over 30 mins for my take-away lunch only to be told there were no take away boxes, so I asked them why they had none, it's my understanding your suppose to replenish stock when it's running low not when it runs out, they served my food in a plastic container which was NOT CLEAN and resembled something I'd give to a dog not a paying customer (human)..

They were offended because I asked them why I had just waited 30 mins for food only to be told they were no take away boxes I asked for a refund & can honestly say I will not be going back I'd rather pay double than eat from this place again..

I went back on Monday 9th Jan 2023 to see if they had any take away boxes & there were still none, so I contacted head office to let them know they still did not have take away boxes, I walked into the pub & the manager with purple hair nudged her colleague to let her know I was the customer who left a bad review, to me it was an honest & brutal review.. Then she mouthed to another colleague that I was the big mouth one, I reacted in a very rude way and shouted at her, she's not professional & has no manners & if she did her job properly then customers wouldn't be rude..

I believe I was not rude the first time there was an issue but when I ask about the boxes in an irritated way she got offended, the problem is if you tell a person anything about their job they are offended and they accuse you of being rude..

The place is unclean - fact Some staff are unclean - fact Some staff are nice some...

Only given this one star has can’t give no stars. Zero customer service. Went there for a meal, after getting a table that clearly had not been cleaned,we ask the waitress to clear it, she sprayed table and wiped the contents on to the floor. We ordered our food via the app two drinks but only one straw brought to the table what are we meant to share the straw. When the food arrived the knife and fork were dirty, after finding the waitress we ask to be given clean knife and forks when she brought what was meant to be clean they we’re dirtier than the others, so we pointed this out to her that they were dirty to, she came back with the dish washer was not working so we ask her if she cold bring clean ones so we could eat our now cold food only be told it would be 15 minutes, so we ask to speak to the manager she told us the manager would come over. Whilst waiting for the manager to come over , we eat the chips with our fingers and used the wooden stick from the steak and the steak knife to cut the steak so we could eat it with our fingers When the team leader finally came to the table he said all he could do was apologise and that he was short staffed. We ask him if he knew there was a pandemic going on and that we certainly didn’t want to touch the knife and forks it clearly was below cleaning standards, again we were told dish wash was not working he just didn’t seem to get it that the service was not acceptable. So anyone thinking of going to this pub avoid at all cost unless you want to eat your meal either with disgusting dirty knife and forks and staff that know nothing about customer service This pub should never be allow to serve food it should be closed down for...
