OMG. Sorry I can’t think of a more sophisticated expression to describe how utterly delicious the food was. I had a crab pasta and it reminded me of the childhood crabs my dad used to prepare while at the same time offering a little chilli kick. My husband had the best pizza (he used to be a pizza chef so he knows) he had for years. Then based on this we scoffed down a wonderful grilled peach dessert (pictured). Impeccable service and authentic (as in just personal - non corporate) decor. We will be back!

I went to this place tonight with my hubby booked a table last minute so was lucky to get a table for 2 🤗 we both had the calamari for starters it was OK, then the crab pasta was very delicious followed by the panacotta with half a baked fig it would of been even better with a whole fig. Hubby had the tiramisou was OK. The staff were lovely especially salvadoro and stephania all in all had a lovely evening and looking forward to trying all the rest of the menu soon..

Unbelievable again.... take aways as good as sitting in and that’s after travelling 25 mins in the car. The range of food and sauces in the restaurant (Covid) were a lovely surprise today. Been all over Italy and eaten in most of the reputable Italians in London and this is as good of a carbonara as you’ll get! Family run and owned, make you feel so welcome when you go in. Recommend for any lovers of Italian food.

Obviously due to coming out of lockdown and allowing eating outside Citro, along with all the other places on Swains Lane, are really busy and booking in advanced is advised as we watched numerous amounts of people get turned away. The staff here are all incredibly friendly and helpful even though they were rushed off their feet the whole time we were there. We were told the menu changes slightly weekly which keeps the menu fresh and will give you something new to try. For starters we had the lamp chops (juicy and incredibly tender and the flavours were amazing which were a pistachio crumb on the lamb and a pea and mint sauce), fried squid was nice and tender and the batter was light and not oily. The pizza was a generous size and we shared one between 2 and they didn't skimp on the toppings either. We rounded out dinner with a tiramisu (which I hope they keep as a permanent item on the menu) and the desserts are all hand made at the restaurant too. It was creamy and not too overpowering with the coffee and the sponge was not completly soggy either, we accompanied it with a coffee which did not disappoint either. I would definitely recommend here and look forward to...

There aren’t enough words to describe this amazing restaurant with fantastic chef, Nunzio, and his staff, not to mention the wonderful food - it is a real find! We have been many times and it was so consistently good, we decided to introduce this lovely Italian restaurant to our friends, all of whom rave about the delicious and inventive dishes. Everything is freshly prepared onsite, from the pasta to puddings. We have tried the marinated lamb chops which were so yummy we ordered them as a main course the next time we went. The burrata was deliciously creamy with delicate dressing and the mushroom and truffle carbonara was just exquisite. The mixed salad was really tasty and everyone at our table liked it so much we ordered more. If the amazing food isn’t enough, the ambiance is also great. Nunzio and the staff are so friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is very jolly. An informal restaurant, frequented by locals, this restaurant is excellent value for money. Go before the word gets out, it really is a first rate place. Great food, great atmosphere,...

We were taken for our first visit to Citro by friends and I can tell that it won't be our last appearance. The restaurant was absolutely buzzing and we were more than ably assisted by the staff during our visit.

The USP for any restaurant is the quality of its food and I'm glad to say that Citro scores highly. We started by sharing some Garlic Foccacia, that certainly whet the appetite, before I moved on to a Veggie Fisti Pizza. This had a healthy amount of tasty topping and not too much dough which was perfect. To round things off I tried the Blood Orange Sorbet and this was nicely sharp/sweet.

All in all we enjoyed a fine meal out. It was a little hard to hold a conversation at times, because the restaurant was busy and sound tends to bounce off the walls, but that's my only complaint. In all other respects...
