I went to this small coffee shop upon all the nice reviews here as I needed a place to read some e-book and the reviews mentioning free wi-fi and study friendly made me choose this place.

However, the reality was quite different. The place had two staff members when I visited and both of them were sneezing/had the flu. (They were both nice and attentive to me though.) Considering it is a small place without ventilation, I did not feel safe enough to stay longer than 10 mins with two people constantly sneezing in the same room. (I even saw one of them not covering their mouth while dealing with the dishes in the kitchenette.)

Long story short: Friendly and attentive staff, but most likely bad management who forces them to work on such conditions.

P.S: The WiFi password they provide doesn’t connect to the wireless network “Coffee...

I visited here two times. The first time was wonderful. The barista with curly short hair made me a great cup of flat white. She was very nice and friendly. I had a lovely two-hour stay there. If I were to only rate based on this visit, I would give this place five stars.

The second time, however, was terrible. It was a different barista and she made the worst cup of flat white I have ever had. It tasted no different than a cup of steamed milk. It was so bad that I felt obligated to leave this review. Not to mention that I specifically walked 20 minutes here for a quality cup of coffee. Extremely disappointed. The cafe was also crowded at the time, and the barista made no effort trying to find me a seat. It was a customer who offered a...

Living 50m from here for quite some time last year, I used to come in quite often. Every day hoping that the new staff (they rotated often) would finally be remotely friendly. I was always dissapointed.

It's a tiny hole in the wall takeaway coffee shop with basic cold drinks, pastries and two staff behind the bar making your coffees. The Coffees themselves are good by comparison against the complete lack of competition. The staff were just dreadful.

In all fairness it has been a while since I've been but I don't think I EVER got any of the basic pleasantries. No "hi", "bye", "what can I get for you", "thankyou", nothing. Just rude, surly staff who stare at you until you speak, then wait for...

"Underground Cafe" is located 5 steps away from West Kensington station. It is a shiny pearl of the area, very unique and interesting little place with ready to go breakfast and hot drink of your desire to grab on the way to work. It is a great place for quick business meeting or personal branding session (discreetly and quick with the consent of the kind owner). I am very thankful for this gracious privilege. Until next time for business meeting with cup of coffee or quick personal branding shoot. In time the deco is changing but ambience of the place grows on me.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and a snack, but was served what can only be described as the microbiome of banana bread. For £3.99, I expected at least a slice large enough to share a conversation with. Instead, I got a crumb so small it probably has its own TikTok trend: 'Miniature Banana Bread Art.' Sure, it tasted okay, but at that price? I'd expect it to come with a backstory, a song, and a handshake from the baker. Very disappointing. Save your money—or bring a magnifying glass
