Concert Café — Restaurant in London

I have been a customer since the opening of the shop for the past few years. However, today I had an extremely disappointing experience. After the previous customer's order was completed, the staff completely ignored me, despite me saying 'Hello!' multiple times. The café was not busy, and there were two staff members right in front of me, yet I was completely disregarded. (Can you believe it?) The staff later claimed they hadn’t noticed me, but I had clearly seen that the previous customer’s drinks have been served about few minutes before. It felt as though I was being lied to, and it was very uncomfortable.

In the past, I’ve experienced similar situations, but I thought the staff might have just been inexperienced at that time. On that occasion, they spent a long time talking to a local conspiracy theorist who even didn't order anything. While I understand the importance of building relationships with the local community, it would have been nice if they acknowledged those of us...

I visited and inquired whether the carrot cake had raisins. There were two staff members on shift, and the lady confidently stated that it didn't, so I proceeded to purchase it. Upon taking my first bite, I realized the cake actually did have raisins. I showed both staff members the raisins, and the female staff member insisted the cake was raisin-free, seeming annoyed that I doubted her. The gentleman searched for the box and discovered that raisins were indeed listed in the ingredients. After this, he offered me a refund.

I wasn't happy with this customer service. If it had been an allergy, the outcome could have been different. Staff members should check ingredients before making assumptions and becoming agitated when customers try to clarify. Please improve in...

This is such a great cafe in Crystal Palace park, and is run totally separately to the other park and NSC cafes. I've been coming here throughout the year. It's great for a breakfast roll.. and their very good expressos.. and their paninis.. and flapjacks.. and now today, I can very much recommend their lovely handmade refreshing lemonade! The Concert Cafe by the Concert Bowl. Also has loos on Concert Bowl platform.

Plus you get the best English Landscape Garden views in the park.. in this Grade II* Nationally listed park... and share the same view as created by Joseph Paxton when grounds of the Crystal Palace first...
