Coffee and ice cream are amazing but service not so much - minimal engagement with the staff but I was ok with that. However, the other day I went in to buy a Christmas cake and a lady in a beige coat was following me around the tiny shop. At first I thought she was a customer but then realised she is actually working there. She didn’t engage or ask anything and it quickly became very apparent that she was on some sort of a shoplifter watch. It was really uncomfortable and not something I ever experienced before. Not busy either, it definitely just made me give up on the cake and I left. I am not sure who needs ti hear this but this is certainly not a way to treat your customers and perhaps you need to reconsider...
