We went into this Costa drive thru at Blackheath on Wednesday, 25th June, on our way from Beckenham, heading to North Herts.
It was lovely there as the staff were very friendly and the place was nice and clean and bright. A nice young man, Irish or Scottish (sorry, I found it difficult to tell) with sandy coloured hair was very helpful and welcoming. We didn't get his name, sorry.
We didn't know the area at all and wanted to get North of the River Thames without using any tunnels Ramshah, the nice young woman who served us, helped me to look it up, as my regular search engine was playing up - as so often. She helped me install a different one, as I was struggling to, and I realised later, I had used it before and liked. She spent time even during her break to help. When Ramshah was on break, she explained to her colleague, Umesh, what was happening and, as the cafe was quietish and everyone served, he came and helped He was lovely, nothing was too much trouble and he looked up a possible route for us He went OUT OF HIS WAY to help us and checked and re-checked, 'No tunnels, no ferries', etc, all with a cheery face. What a lovely, helpful young man. He also kept going and serving and clearing tables as necessary and then came back to help when he finished. These two members of staff were a credit to the company as they definitely showed a genuine interest in helping customers in those circumstances, as well as being affable when serving.

   Read moreThis coffee shop doesn't know the difference between someone standing in line first and second. They disrespected my presence by going to the second customer to see if they could help them and assisted them before myself .
Only for me to have to address them with hello I have not been served I am waiting to be served and tbh they should ask me as most other shops do when your standing first if you have been served .
Then they tried charge me for an item that the person in second position was wanting to pay for and charge me for their item.
Then once I asked for the cake it was assigned the wrong label and so they gave me a cherry tart instead, of which I am allergic to no correct cake given.
After going to my car I realise that I had to come back and get an exchange for the right product, by this time I had asked for the manager and customer service assistant Tecla told me it was the same lady who served me. The Asst manager tried to explain her reasoning for being so unequipped to provide a great service and rather than listen to my frustration tried to brush it under the carpet like it was nothing.

   Read morehello we went there to drink something and because it was a very hot day so i asked the lady on the counter for a menu so i can decide our drink and food and to see the prices easily but instead the girl gave me this horrible look and made me feel stupid for asking the menu, when i asked again she pointed her finger toward the tv screen very angerly and did not say a word. When i looked at the screen it turned into some advert and i start waiting for the menu to show and it will stay few second and change again. This other girl came with a smile but helpless, we had some cold drinks which were easer to order but could not order something to eat.
