Costa Coffee — Restaurant in London

Meh, it's Costa, in a bit of a strange (but kind of central on the high street) location. Much like the Starbucks chain it kind of but doesn't ape (and is 2nd only to in terms of having most stores worldwide, wow), you know what you're getting with a Costa. Whilst Costa used to be a nice, almost sadly 'alternative' alternative to the Starbucks, any charm it once had is mostly gone. The same food on offer in each store, the same poor prices for simple things such as a cheese and tomato sandwich (ooh heated, well worth it...). The coffee is good, I'll give them that, and the setting with the vast glass exteriors allowing in much light is preferable to the Starbucks rival near directly opposite and as such, should you insist on plumping for one of the big 2 coffee chains, Costa's your pick...

Most of the staff is nice except for the short italian girl. She made a terrible watery latte and when i asked her to please change it, she was rude and confrontational. She told me that there is no foam in a latte and went on a rant about it. I know there is no foam in a latte but it is way creamier and frothier than her watery latte that was closer to instant coffee. If it was not for the other guy working there who de-escalated the whole thing, she would definitely not have changed the drink. I am a regular there and drink their coffee almost everyday, so it's not like I don't know what to expect from their coffee. Very disappointed and upset by...

It was too cold to sit in as the would turn on cold fan inside whilst outside is 1 degree. I got surprised when my request to moderate the temperature has been rejected . As I was freezing my coffee got cold pretty fast and I could not enjoy time with my friend at all. Poor attention in service specially at winter time when every one looking for a place to stay warm and spend money and pay extra VAT to come in and have warm coffee there is strong cold fan ins8de coffee shop which bothered me a lot and rude stuff who does not pay attention to customers. ...
