Crazy For Pasta — Restaurant in London

I’ve placed dozens of orders from Crazy For Pasta on Deliveroo over the past year. However, after many poor experiences, tonight’s will be the last.

When the food is delivered quickly, it tastes good, which is the reason I’ve been a loyal customer.

However, recently all my orders have taken forever to arrive and, by the time they do, the pasta is cold and congealed. Even though it says “10-20 mins” on the app, it usually takes nearer an hour. For context, I live about 5 mins away from their kitchen. It seems they just can’t cope with the demand.

Today, I ordered their “Classica” dish, which is supposedly suitable for vegetarians. As I began eating it, as a lifelong vegetarian, I was really upset to find that it contained pieces of meat. I’ve attached a photo showing one of these pieces, but discovered more as I sifted through the pasta.

This prompted me to check their hygiene rating; I was very disappointed to see that it is only a 3 out of 5, which indicates there is fairly significant room for improvement. Ew, gross 🤢

Ordered from Crazy for Pasta twice now and have been extremely underwhelmed. The first time it was cold pasta very hard but I thought I’d give them a second chance, I ordered a pasta and it was dripping with oil and basically tasteless. The free item I was given within the order was stale. I am very disappointed a waste of my money.

UPDATE: I’ve read your reply and I’m genuinely surprised that you’ve suggested my review might be fake or that I don’t know what I’m talking about. For the record, this isn’t the first time concerns about quality have been raised in your reviews.

The issue with the food being cold wasn’t due to the delivery driver — it arrived within five minutes, yet it was still lukewarm. That’s clearly a preparation issue, not a delivery one.

No matter what awards or recognitions your business may have, I’m entitled to share my honest experience — and unfortunately, I’ve had two disappointing visits now. I hope future feedback is taken more constructively rather than...

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I ordered very expensive Italian food in good faith from this place. All I got was a cheap disgusting Burger. I gave the wrong food immediately back to the driver, but never got the food that I ordered and paid for. A real rip off and scam.
