Crispies - Maida Hill — Restaurant in London

To be quite frank I normally get crispies quite often, however on this particular evening it wasn’t the same. Firstly we received cold food, secondly they forgot to give us our 6 separate wings (6.95) daylight robbery if you ask me. Thirdly the batter/coating on the wings were horrible no salt whatsoever. We had called Crispies and informed that about our missing winds they said they didn’t have any drivers like we get that it’s busy on a Friday but it was £35 worth of food for nothing! My husband had to go and pick up the wings and they were still cold! Honestly lost a customer now we think it’s appalling the level of food and service was disgusting!...

I was in need of some food whilst travelling abroad. I decided to give this place a go.

The employee was nice and warned me that the hot buffalo sauce for my chicken is extremely spicy, and recommended me to get the Korean bbq sauce instead. I agreed.

First and foremost, the chips are some of the best I’ve ever had hands down. The wings were decent and the chicken burger was pleasant. To my surprise, the Korean bbq sauce had a decent amount of kick in terms of spice, and was tasty.

Overall, I have no complaints. Food was excellent and reasonably priced, I paid less than 9 pounds for a menu.

INCONSIDERATE OWNER - TAKE NOTE I was viewing an apartment above this place, and the oil fumes were unbearable. Apparently, the owner of this restaurant purposely hasn't fixed his exhaust so all the fumes are let into the apartment above. I didn't end up renting the place and it has been on market for a while bec of this even when the rent is below market. What an absolute nightmare for the apartment owner above. This guy probably wants to hold the apartment owner hostage or has a grudge, probably wants to purchase the apartment on the cheap. What an absolute *ick...
