Read moreThis is the best pizza restaurant in Archway! And probably top in London!
Without a shadow of a doubt you should visit this restaurant if in the area. It's one of my clear favourites (visited for the first time in December 2017) and now it's a regular dinner location for me!
The pizzas are a great balance of crispy and chewy sourdough, with a nice variety of toppings and some fun tasty options with fresh ingredients. The drinks are also good, with a decent choice of wines and are fairly priced with prosecco on tap (what's not to love). Sourdough is perhaps made famous by Franca Manca but this is a much more authentic and interesting version of sourdough pizzas since the ingredients are unique and well balanced. It's also run by a friendly family so is a great local option rather than a chain.
Great for takeaway too, so can't really sing their praises high enough (though advise collection for freshness as delivery companies are awful...
Read moreFound this place through their good reviews, so I was excited to try. I love a good pizza, which is not that easy to find. Cute restaurant, lovely atmosphere, and super friendly waitress. Nice small menu, but still plenty to choose from. Every pizza sounded great, and you find not just the boring classics but a little twist here and there, but still sticking to the authentic touch. We shared the melanzane parmigiana (delicious) and then the fennek pizza and a Nduja, both were made to perfection! The ingredients were fresh and tasty, the dough was thin, crispy (holds up when you take an entire slice in your hand), and plenty of tomato sauce, which is also so tasty. Overall, 5 stars! Oh, and an incredible Tiramisu!!
Also, it is very reasonable priced. £58 for the two of us, 2 soft drinks, 1 starter, 2 pizzas, and 1 dessert.
I'll be back, so many more...
