Ordering a takeaway:
I arrived at the restaurant on the 24/09/2024 at approximately 17:10 pm to order a takeaway wrap. After placing and paying for my order, I noticed other customers, who had arrived after me, being served before me, although I didn’t initially mention this. I paid for the wrap right after ordering and later also purchased a dessert, again paying immediately.
When I received my wrap and was about to leave the restaurant, one of the staff members—who wasn’t present when I first arrived—started shouting, accusing me of not paying for my food. I calmly explained that I had already paid and requested that she check the CCTV footage to confirm this, which she refused to do so. That would be kind and a good customer service if she just done that checked the camera and we would all be happy me as a customer and the restaurant selling their products. Because, I did pay, but of course she wasn't there so at that point I give her bit of time and I wanted to make her mind peace. However, she continued insisting that I hadn’t paid and asked the other staff members, one of whom incorrectly said that I had not paid. The person who I gave my money and paid for my meal at the till, said that she couldn't remember if I paid or not. The restaurant wasn't busy and it felt like they were belittling me as a human.
I then politely I stated that I didn't want the food anymore and I asked for my money back, as I felt unfairly accused and distressed by the situation. Another customer, who wasn’t involved in the original exchange, rudely intervened, accusing me of wasting police time. Despite this, I calmly repeated that I simply wanted my money back and to be treated with respect as a paying customer.
At this point, I was feeling anxious and distressed. I also carry a hidden disability badge, which was ignored by the staff during this exchange. Eventually, the woman refunded my money, but she continued to blame me for the situation, saying it was my fault, and refused to acknowledge...
Read moreHello Dear Readers I've been a loyal customer of this fantastic business for 4 years, and I'm thrilled to give them 5 stars! I love treating myself, family, and friends here. The owners, a lovely couple, are always warm and welcoming. The food is delicious, and their products consistently receive top ratings from satisfied customers.
We even celebrated a birthday party here and had a great time. My 90-year-old uncle raved about the meals and now orders takeout regularly.
I've read some reviews and couldn't believe the complaints about toilet access. Understandably, the owners prioritize their customers' needs, and it's reasonable to expect customers to make a purchase before using the facilities, especially given the location.
Overall, I'd give them 10 stars if possible. They're a top-notch restaurant deserving of loyalty and support
Ps.Its not all about kebabs just go and treat your self with Traditional Turkish meals those served with sauces such as Beans with meat +rice and salad or Mussakka or Imam bayildi:)...
