We hired CurryBae to cater our wedding, and it was genuinely one of the best decisions we made for our big day. From start to finish, their service, professionalism, and incredible food exceeded all expectations. Right from the first tasting, we knew we were in good hands. The flavours were rich, authentic, and beautifully presented—and they somehow managed to make everything even better on the actual day! The team arrived early, set up quickly, and were incredibly organised throughout. They handled everything with ease and a smile, and were so warm and welcoming to our guests. Their attention to dietary needs (vegan, gluten-free, mild vs spicy options) was also a huge bonus and made everyone feel considered. As for the food—wow. The butter chicken was a huge hit, the lamb curry was tender and full of flavor, and the veggie dishes were just as loved. The naan was hot and fresh, the rice perfectly cooked, and the chutneys and sides added so much personality to the meal. We even had people going back for seconds! We received so many compliments from our guests saying it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding—and we agree. CurryBae brought warmth, flavour, and a lot of heart to our celebration. If you’re looking for something unique, personal, and absolutely delicious for your event, look no further. Thank you again for helping make our day unforgettable! Dharen and Sophie

Popped by Curry Bae for dinner after a rainy day out at Kew Garden and had a hearty, delicious meal with really warm service. We were lucky to get a table for three without reserving beforehand - would recommend reserving a table if you’re headed there for a weekend dinner as it gets crowded and there aren’t that many tables! We ordered the mixed grill platter and spiced papadoms to share - meats were very tender and tasty, chutneys/dips were great. We had a lamb tikka masala, a chicken dish and a paneer dish for mains - all hits and no misses. Dishes were well spiced and flavourful! I thought the raitha and mint dip was quite special compared to other kinds of raitha i had before - they were really creamy and went very well with the meats and paneer. Thanks to the friendly waitress for checking in to make sure we enjoyed our dinner too. Would love to come back to try their other dishes if I am in the area!

Nafeez from Curry Bae was a joy to deal with. We road tested the menu at the restaurant, before deciding to use them for a birthday party, catering for 60 people. We had vegan Samosas and Chicken Shish kebabs to start, followed by Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Bhuna curries, Tarka Dhal, Saag Aloo, Pilau rice and Naan Bread, with a mint yoghurt dip and mango chutney. Food arrived on time and piping hot. It was all laid out, very quickly and ready to serve in no time. Everything tasted delicious and there was enough for seconds and in some cases, thirds! We had so many compliments on the night about how tasty the food was and the presentation was lovely. Many took the CB business cards home with them. Would have no hesitation using Curry Bae again for an event and will continue to order our Indian meals from the restaurant for the foreseeable future!

Sadly a very negative experience. We bumped into the manager of this branch when it was closed, he was very nice and encouraged us to come when the restaurant was open. So we decided to look up the restaurant reviews and they all seemed great. We decided to order via the Curry Bae website because Deliveroo was more expensive and they weren’t open on the Deliveroo site. So my partner calls the restaurant directly to ask if they are actually open as Deliveroo said no, the distracted male staff member was chatting to someone else in the room but eventually listened enough to confirm they were open. We decided to persevere with our order because of the niceness of the manager despite the disappointing interaction with the staff member on the phone. The Curry Bae website claimed that our 7:04pm order would have an estimated delivery between 8pm and 8:10pm. We wait. At 8:33pm I call the branch and get a female staff member who didn’t seem to understand what I was asking, she asked my name, repeated it back to me incorrectly and when I offered my order number she started talking to someone else and didn’t reply, after finishing her interaction with the other person she told me the order was on the way. Not sure how she knew which customer she was replying to. By 9:08pm I’ve had enough and call to speak to the manager, he tells me that he believes the order has already been delivered but says he will take my number and speak to the driver before calling me back. The food arrived luke warm 10 - 15 minutes later. The driver was busy having fun on his phone but did offhand apologise for the late delivery. The restaurant is a 15 minute walk from us, no idea if the driver walked it here and it got cold on the way or if the driver forgot to deliver it and it was sat in his car for over half an hour, either way the fact that it was only in a carrier bag and not an insulated bag like the delivery companies use would have made it cold whenever it left the restaurant. The manager has still not called back.

The food was disappointing, overly sweet and tasted mass-produced. The vegetable pakoras seemed similar to a bread dumpling and couldn’t find anything other than a crunchy onion in them. The meat in the curries we chose was small in volume, overcooked and dry, no labels on the boxes to say which dish is which. The mango chutney was definitely out of a long life jar or tin. The only part of our delivery that was tasty were the popadums. I’m the manager of a hospitality venue that also delivers so understand the restaurant side of things, this was substandard in my opinion. We didn’t experience the premium Indian food claimed on the website. Sadly we will not be returning. Genuinely confused by the 5...

Nafeez and CurryBae made mine and my wife's wedding day the most special, amazing day of our lives. They provided a food truck and marquee to serve dinner from to our guests, and they went above and beyond to provide the best service possible. I cannot thank Nafeez and his co-chef enough for what they did for us on the day, for how easy they made things and for removing any anxiety we had with catering. They even made the journey all the way to Kent for us & took executive decisions on meal prep without stressing us near the big day. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives, it is a day we will never forget, and that is in no small part thanks to CurryBae and Nafeez. Thank you all so much, and for the chai - IT WENT DOWN A TREAT!! Please do not hesitate to book CurryBae for absolutely anything, or to just pay them a visit for a meal. Our guests still will not stop talking about how great the food was AND the service!! Thank you, thank you, and thank...
