Hands down the best Fish and Chips I’ve ever had. I had the Cornish Pasty which is not industrialised, but looks and tastes home made, deliciously seasoned and fresh. The Cod was the most flaky, juicy with super crispy crust and the chips were on the same level, chunky and soft on the inside but crispy on the outside. They made it to order and nothing was left sitting on the counter. I more than 100% recommend it. They seem to be a family business and have very good customer service, very attentive and quick. The space is sweet and yes, it could have a bit more to the decor but at the end of the day, the food and service is what matter the most, and they definitely excel! The best fish and chips in London. Fish delivered fresh each day from Grimsby, they only every use Maris Piper potatos and their frying oil is cleaned/replaced regularly. The potatos are selected at the market for low water content (they do not rupture when frying and get oily), low sugar content (they do not brown unevenly) and high starch (great taste). The chip frying is 2 stage. Regular oil temperature to cook chips through, high final heat oil to finish with dry and crispy outer. After a visit to Kew Gardens visited this fantastic Fish and Chip place. It's only a short walk from Kew and Kew Tube Station. Highly rated in reviews but totally deserved, was not disappointed Fish was perfectly cooked and juicy. Also had cod roe which was also lovely and fresh. They do have a few tables outside - I was sat there waiting for the order to be freshly cooked and the very polite guy in there brought mine out on a plate!
