I was walking my dog and popped in to get bread. The girl refused my money and said we don't take cash. I'm a 72 year old pensioner and I think this policy is unfair on people. I didn't bring a bag or phone out with me. She said they have no change in the till. I offered to go next door and buy something and come back with exact money. Again she refused. Until now my usual go-to place for almond croissants as takeaway has been Gail’s in Wimbledon Village but here the almond croissants are of much better quality with a proportionate amount of smooth and sweet filling. The only downside (or an advantage depending on your preference) is that these are larger in size so bear this in mind if you only want a quick bite in a rush or if you’re counting calories. Don’t normally do reviews but this place is genuinely amazing, I don’t understand how there isn’t more hype around it. The almond croissant and sourdough is up there with some of the best I’ve ever had. Absolutely love the coffee as well, a great flat white.
