Awful place! Long queues because there is only one person making coffees. I asked for a skimmed milk latte and when I had been served it, they said it is semi skimmed and they don’t have skimmed milk which the lady should have told me about it before getting my money. Because of the health issue I can only have skimmed milk. When I asked do you have any other close to zero fat milk, the barista guy didn’t even move to check the milk’s nutritional value and just acted like it is not his problem. Then I asked to just give me a tea, and what do you think happened? Oh, it was leaking everywhere to the point that even when I was drinking it, it was leaking first before I could taste in my mouth. Wet hands, my coat wet, eventually just couldn’t even drink a simple tea and didn’t give me refund for difference in price between a latte and a tea.

Awful service, staff doesn’t care about their customers, long queue for a simple coffee.

Do not recommend, spend your money somewhere everyone.

Edit after their reply: I mentioned at least you 3-4 times to make it with skimmed milk, literally 3-4 times because it is important for me and I wasn’t informed about only having semi skimmed milk. Maybe for some people it is not a big deal but for people who are cautious about their fat intake for many reasons it is an important(health wise)...

Disappointing. We had two iced lattes, a loaded banana bread, and a salt beef toastie. It was over £20 which was steep for what we got.

I'm particularly disappointed with the lack of hygeine shown in the food preparation. There is no kitchen, so I watched our food being prepared. There was no hand washing whatsoever between serving, cleaning, and preparing food.

I also noticed the same cloth was being used to wipe the counter and then to dry off cleaned plates! Really poor hygeine!

Given there is no kitchen, the food is kept in the fridge. The beef in my toastie was discoloured where it had likely been sat in the fridge for a while. It tasted okay enough but for £7.60, I expected much better, especially since there were no garnishes.

The service was average. Empty plates and glasses had been left on our table and then only belatedly cleared by staff. They didn't wipe the table clean after they took them either, which was disappointing.

The coffee was fine enough. However, if you're looking for food other than pastries, I'd suggest trying one of the better options in Beckenham. I won't be...

So have been here many times, staff, service, and food/cakes was and always is excellent. My thoughts when i sat in this time, and watched behind the counter , so my main concern is , Not once did the staff wash their bare hands, going out the back three times touching what ? , touching cakes , my grated cheese , counters everywhere with bare hands , with the risk of cross contamination everywhere, they do have bright yellow merrygold gloves to use to wash up, but not actually wash their own hands.

This could be a serious incident with anyone with nut / wheat allergies . So I think you need to have a staff chat and realign your "Hygiene...
