My boyfriend and I came here for brunch after a stroll in Wimbledon common. The interior is super cute and I really like the vibes. Our server was attentive and friendly and the pub was thankfully not busy so we got our food very fast. The food was very yummy and filling, however inflation gets the better of all businesses so £12 for bacon and eggs on a muffin is slightly extortionate. No worries though since this is a wealthy area so that is to be expected. There wasn’t actually much in the English breakfast, one sausage and two small hashbrowns with a small pot of beans looks like a lot on the plate but actually you can get more for cheaper elsewhere. I must say however, that the plating is beautiful and the meals are served looking scrumptious. Because it’s right on the main road, there’s quite a lot of noise from the street which isn’t a problem unless you’re sat by the window. Overall, it was good food and a nice vibe! Would recommend if you’re in the area.

Won’t be back!! We came here for a drink, as the place looked nice as there were 3 tables by the full length top to bottom window and it was open. One table was empty there wasn’t even a Reserved sign or anything, however we’ve been told that you can have the table only for 30 mins as it’s reserved at 3pm (we came at 14:25). We’ve been asked to move to another table which was away from the table by the window /street. Guess what? 1.5 hrs later no one came to sit at that table ! I constantly came over to check if we can move there but the answer Anika was constantly giving us is: ”No” they will be coming soon. We ordered food and more drinks just sat and watched the empty table by the window 😂 I don’t know any place in London where they hold a table for an hour. If you are popping in here just for a quick drink it’s quite a nice place but other than that service is awful.

Service was perfect! The woman who met us was polite and promptly found us a table despite not having a reservation (which I think is preferred), brought the menus and provided water without any fuss. Our waiter was excellent! Whilst taking our order, he answered all of our questions in regards to ingredients and allergies and was able to accommodate the children's requests for changes from both the regular and kids menus. The food was enjoyed by all: roasted camembert & chutney, salmon cakes, burgers and roast chicken lunches. The decoration was a little more up market than a regular pub, super comfy and pretty cool. Lots of great knick knacks, paintings etc Definitely worth a visit (and hopefully someone would have given the loos some TLC in the meantime).

I came here for my friends birthday last night and it was a great time, staff behind the bar were really nice especially Jose who would try to join in on the costume party fun. The only thing that put me off and it might just me being picky is how one of the members of staff, I think I I heard his name being Chris was just standing by the front door for hours and did not help out any of the other staff members as well as talking to his friend who wasn’t part of the event but had a bottle in his hand, baring in mind we had booked for it to be a private event so we were hoping to have no one else there just to make the occasion special. Anyways apart from all this it was really fun, the food was great and the hard working staff were really nice. Edit: One thing I will add is that it was nice of this manager Chris to let us stay and ponder until 1:30 in the morning considering we were told we would only allowed to have the place until midnight so I will thank all the staff for staying later. Back on the front door situation Chris had a helper think I heard his name being Dev and the poor member of staff would do everything at the door, at this point was there even any point to have Chris other than reopening the bar multiple times past midnight. Anyways once again thanks to all other members of staff for making the...

Awful brunch and experience. - Don't bother and go somewhere else. We went there for brunch with our baby as we knew it would be quiet. The waitress was off putting from the get go, tall, dark hair, thick accent, scowl on her face, tattoos. I asked if it was possible for them to boil a few vegetables for my baby, some carrots and brocolli and she said in a very aggressive and argumentative way "No it's against policy" before I even finished asking. I had to leave and go buy him a pouch. Then we get the food which was SUB PAR to say the least, cheap tasteless produce, every single item tasted awful, and to top it off they serve MARGARINE instead of butter. When I asked the waitress why they don't do butter she said in a very aggressive and argumentative way "Well we have a lot of vegan dishes" hmm ok, but my meal is clearly not vegan. It's clearly cost cutting across all the food, a stupid choice when the competition is so huge in Wimbledon Village. We will never return to have food or drink...
