I have been a regular customer here for a while, and I have never been disappointed! The food here is excellent, and this is honestly a very legendary hidden gem. I placed a large order for my family, and tried a lot of different things. I ordered Salt and Pepper Wings, 2 Singapore Fried Rice, a Chicken Chowmein, a Beef Pad Thai, a Chicken Katsu Curry and 1 Chicken and Sweetcorn Soup, and 1 Tom Yum Soup. I paid a total of around £58, which wasn’t too bad! The quality of the food was excellent. I ordered takeway, yet the food was presented very well. As always, the food tasted excellent, that was probably the best Singapore Fried Rice I had in a very long time. The portions are huge, and both the Chicken Chowmein and Beef Pad Thai were cooked to perfection, and packed full of meat and flavours. The Tom Yum Soup was nice and spicy, and packed full of meat. That would make a perfect winter night meal! The Chicken Katsu Curry was a great portion, and tasted amazing. The Katsu Curry Sauce was nice and thick. The Salt and Pepper Wings were fresh and delicious, they tasted very good and had a nice shatter crunch. They were better than Popeyes chicken wings trust me on that. I also love the fact that compared to other Chinese restaurants, their food is not very oily, and tastes incredibly fresh and delicious. The customer service is excellent, and it’s an overall nice atmosphere to sit in the Restaurant. I would definitely recommend Dragons Den to you, and you will not be...

As someone who adores a good bowl of soup, I’ve always had a soft spot for Dragon Den’s Oriental Kitchen. The first time I tried their Tom Yum soup, I was blown away—it was flavorful, comforting, and honestly one of the best versions I’ve had in a while. Naturally, I couldn’t wait to bring my friend and brother along so they could experience it too.
This time, however, things didn’t quite live up to my expectations. We ordered two Tom Yum soups, but the broth tasted a little different than I remembered, and the mushrooms weren’t cooked through. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t have that same magic that made me fall in love with it before.
On the bright side, their fried dumplings and wontons were excellent—crispy, flavorful, and a definite must-try if you visit. These small bites really delivered and left us impressed.
Despite the hiccup with the soup this visit, I still stand by my love for Dragon Den’s. I’ve had enough good experiences here to know that this might have just been an off day. When I’m craving a warm, comforting bowl of soup, this is still one of the first places that comes to mind.
Verdict: Dumplings and wontons are a win, and the Tom Yum soup—when it’s on point—is something I’ll keep...
Read moreFinally got to try a Chicken Katsu Curry dish last night and really liked it. Definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a good halal Chinese restaurant to go to with friends family. Can seat upto 30-40 people.
A friend who had their food several times recommended this restaurant, so four of us went there last night around 7pm and the restaurant was busy. The restaurant was nice and simple looking, which I like and is family friendly. The staff were polite and professional in their ways and handled all the orders well, even though they were busy.
We ordered their Dragon's Den Special Beef Fried Rice with Black Bean Sauce, Chicken Katsu Curry, Tom Yum Soup, Salt & Pepper Platters and Prawn Toasts. The food portion sizes were very good and filled us up well. The food was served in good time despite being very busy and the food came out all good. The food had that homely food feeling.
Anyone thinking of coming to this restaurant, the nearest station is Whitechapel Underground which is on the District and Hammersmith lines, then it's a 5 minute walk from there. For car parking there are pay display bays around the area along with residents bays where the...
