Staff very friendly and welcoming, coffee and vegan cake was delicious but the food was a massive let down. Asked for scrambled eggs on toast, got pretty much omelettes instead. Slice of sourdough is extremely thin and dry with no butter - salmon on the side must be the expensive type because we got two small slices barely proportionate to the amount of egg and toast - not to mention the taste was horrible. I think if they will make scrambled egg and salmon, they should use generic smoked salmon slices instead of trying to put appearance and price over taste. Coming from a couple who had the wacka smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast religiously. All in all, we were charged £32 (insane) for two lattes, a cake slice and the two sourdoughs with egg and salmon. At wacka this used to be an average of £18-20. Either we were overcharged or the menu does not make it clear at all which is something they need to improve. £6.50 without sides, or £9 with a side, or did we get charged £18 for 4 pieces of salmon?! Not the staff fault, the company itself needs to do better if they want to fill in the shoes of wacka which was loved...

The coffee and food at DropShot are genuinely among the best in Wimbledon. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff — some of the kindest and most accommodating people you'll meet. After breaking my knee last year, my mobility was limited, but I still needed to get out and about. The team — Adam, Lili, Martha, Monica, Rachel, Ginye, Irena, and Eros (the chef) — made a huge difference in helping me stay sane during a tough period. I can’t thank them enough. There’s always a great atmosphere, a real buzz, and consistently excellent coffee.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I’ve been meaning to write one for DropShot for a while. I happened to be there during the incident mentioned in Charlotte’s one-star review, and I saw things unfold very differently. The café was extremely busy (it was Easter Monday), and the staff handled everything with professionalism - despite being treated quite unfairly by an entitled customer. That experience reminded me how much this team deserves...

Ordered mushrooms on toast with a fried egg and coffee. Was charged £19.15 for it. Asked the server how it was so expensive and she realised her mistake, enlisting a colleague's help to rectify the situation. I was told I had been refunded but wasn't informed how much the refund was. Sat down. Coffee arrived. I had originally ordered milk on the side. But obviously the milk wasn't there and I was asked if I wanted milk. Coffee was tepid, tasteless, and there wasn't much of it. The food arrived. Thought I was getting the mushrooms and butternut squash on toast (as listed on the menu) but I just got the mushrooms. Didn't realise I had to specify each ingredient to make sure I got the dish I wanted. I also got two fried eggs when I only wanted one. Eggs had an almost solid yolk. By this point I wasn't interested in a back and forth with the staff. So I finished my food and left. Not recommended,...

This is a small cafe have lovely staff with mouthwatering food. Prices are okay too. I enjoyed a brunch with friends in this lovely cafe. The coffee here tastes perfect. I ordered an Americano. The food is very delicious and well portioned. The veggie dropshot is wonderful. i swapped the kale with avocado and asked the eggs as poached. The hash brown is perfect and I wish Id ordered extra one. The baked beans seemed different kind of beans and very aromatic. The dolce de leche french toast also was very nice. Although it had the egg smell but I guess its me, super smell sensitive🙈 but was very good. The kid’s breakfast was not very good, The cream on top of the bun tasted weird and our kid didn’t even have one bite. Staff there are very friendly and helpful and I will definitely come back there.

This place was a gem of a find! The quirky name drew me in, I like supporting small shops, rather than big chains. Wonderful food selection that was different from your average full English and not excessively expensive. Staff were super-friendly, even when I realised I’d made a silly mistake and gone to the wrong one, we had a laugh and she made me a tasty flat white while I waited for my friend. The food was beautifully cooked and tasty, and I loved my peanut, banana and honey smoothie to finish. Only given it 4 stars for atmosphere as the seats weren’t very comfy if you were there for an hour 🥴.

New coffee shop. It’s worth knowing that they stop serving food mid afternoon. We were the only people in there and as there was no music the atmosphere was pretty dead to the extent that it felt strange to be talking and made it a bit like a library. The styling seems a bit confused but that could be because it’s opening week the space itself has potential to be quite nice. Coffee was okay but I’d be tempted to walk down to saucer and cup if that’s what you are in to. They also sell their own branded beans which we bought and will try out tomorrow.
