Really disapointed. The pizza was good. But the service horrible. From the moment the waitress came to give me the menu I felt uncomfortable. It was just the beginning. No smile and antipathique, without even talking she was rude. No upselling or recommandation. And she came to take my orders because someone told her I was ready. Then my pizza was ready but she decided to ignore it again someone came to tell her but she prefer keep cleaning a table. It wasnt busy the three groups in thé café had already ate. I was the only customer waiting for my food. My pizza stayed there and at some point the chef took it and remake one. Once again she didnt bring me the pizza someone else who werent on shift did. And its not finish no chekback and the best it was when I asked for the bill. She didnt print it she directly put the amount on the card machine. So I insisted to get the bill and of course the service charge was on. I asked to remove it. Since im in London it happened only once that I refused to pay the service charge that was the second Time. I will defenetly not recommand this cafe. First of all let's start from outstanding service received from Stella. Her positive energy and friendly attitude made the experience even better. Restaurant itself is nicely furnished, we took table made out of pink Vespa! Such an awesome idea especially when its such an iconic Italian scooter. On the walls has been placed plenty of photos and posters related to pop culture I think I was looking at Sophia Loren one to many times! Ok, so now let's talk about food! Delicious and captivating flavours out of this world. Olives, bruschetta and Calamari from Stella's recommendation took us at least for a little bit to Rome. Did you know dough for pizza is made 48h before serving which means your belly will be not blown after your meal. Pasta Carbonara was not on the Menu however Stella took extra mile and recommended this one to me. I decide to take extra mozzarella and have it baked I could be not more happy. My sister bought us a Groupon voucher to use at this restaurant. The first I knew that we couldn’t use it, was when the owner advised us once we had taken our seats, that he no longer worked with Groupon and that there wasn’t a way in which he could redeem it. He therefore offered us a £10 discount off our food. The Groupon voucher was for £60 discount value off food. We had our meal which was tasty, paid and left. To my surprise my sister then contacted me the next day, to say that the Groupon had in fact been redeemed, so effectively we paid twice for the same meal. It has taken nearly a week for the owner to refund us as he knowingly was paid twice, but this was entirely his doing. I am very upset and disappointed that we were lied to and have had the hassle of trying to resolve the matter.
