I thought to take my time to write a review as I’ve been going to this place for many years now and have always put it as the number 1 restaurant of mine out of 100’s ive been to. The standard was highhh. I have realised that under new ownerships. Sadly, have to say it’s definitely gone downhill. This place used to be fully packed out on a Saturday that you couldn’t even book it on the day. Lets talk. The food is still amazing still however the prices have shot up. The menu has changed and a lot has been taken off. That was really popular. The staff were mainly foreign and didn’t really understand when talking to us. They used to do a surf and turf and when my partner asked about it the waiter asked what is this. Had no idea what surf and turf was which was shocking. Also when we walked in no one agreed us. we had to actually really enter. There was a lady who was recording a guy making cocktails who didn’t even acknowledge us and then we were thinking to seat ourselves before someone came. We booked it for our fifth anniversary, so some acknowledgement of that would’ve been nice. When my partner was ordering he chose sweet potato fries, he then asked to change his sweet potato fries to Mac and cheese. The guy agreed and when he re read it out said sweet potatoe fries and my partner corrected him. But then still bought us sweet potato fries. My partner had to explain that he changed it and then the guy realised but, just to make him happy my partner took it. The cocktails remain the same, which was absolutely amazing thank god they didn’t change whats in it i think its the same price. However, I think their fillet steak should be how it used to be it was 34 or 36 everyone’s really struggling so that little bit of money more makes a difference…to bringing in customers too. As well as the sides going up a bit as well…. By the end we had a nearly £20 service charge which was a bit of a joke because their prices were higher and I wasn’t happy with the service also, they didn’t acknowledge our special request so I did take this off. I think the staff need to be a bit more attentive. They need to really understand what the customer saying and I do feel the old menu was better. It had a bit more choice as well as surf and turf is a BIG favourite of everyones!! My bill alone was around £90 without dessert. Usually when I come here, my bill used to be around 70 or just over with drinks, dessert sides, everything. Also forgot to mention they DOUBLED THE PRICE OF SAUCE FOR THE STEAK TO NEARLY £5!!!!!that is crazy!! For a sauce. Peppercorn sauce usually about £2.50 anywhere but also was the price here. Yesterday i was shocked to hear this place was charging £4.50 or maybe a bit more. I think if they really take on some of the criticism that is mentioned they will definitely be packed out again. It is nowhere near as filled like how it used to be.it used to be that there was no space for booking on the day sometimes even the day before that’s how popular it was so they need to go back Because whatever it is that’s new is clearly not making them packed out like...

Attending a family gathering at this venue at the weekend. I notice some decent reviews for the food, but , I have to say I am surprised. Without even starting on the quality of the service, the ability for professional cooks to deliver warm, correct, well prepared food on time is lacking to say the least. The ambiance of the place for family/large gatherings is poor and clearly their is an approach to drive profit over quality and pleasure. The restaurant should not accept multiple large gatherings if they do not have the compliment of staff or a manager available. They certainly should not based on the size of the kitchen and ability of the cooks. The food itself was a mixed bag to say the least, please treat steak (which is supposed to be of reasonable quality), with more respect. Get the orders right, first time, not third. If you offer one veggie option, get it perfect, first time. It is a halloumi burger, not rocket science. The cocktails are fine, but you should not have to wait 20 mins for 1 to arrive and who really cares about the smoking ice...I think the place needs to get its gimicks right at the right time. Whilst I appreciate the young waiting staff, working hard at a low compliment tried their best to appease people and apologise on the night for awful service and food, not have senior staff on site is not fair on them and a worry in terms of safety. I left the staff with a suggestion they dont accept this level of pressure or support in the future. I would really recommend people head to one of the more professional restaurants in Wimbledon or Putney to obtain the same (but wider and of higher...

Luckily managed to get a walk in for two people, and it was Father’s Day so was mindful that there were a a few people in the venue.

Staff were absolutely spot on and tentative, however we arrived at 5:50pm and had to wait until 7:45pm to be served our mains as the kitchen was extremely slow this day, we came from north west London based off the positive reviews and unfortunately I wouldn’t come back based off the kitchens performance.

I cannot fault the front of house staff, servers and bar staff, they were exceptional and did their best to keep us informed when asked and worked well under clear pressure and agitation from customers; as were weren’t the only table that had to wait a long time. PAY THEM MORE - they deserve it.

However considering it was Father’s Day, I understand the service could run slow, however not to this extent. I would expect the service to be a lot smoother to get as many customers in and out to enjoy their...

I had a wonderful experience in this place, my sister went here so I had to try it with my friend. We were greeted warmly with a smile by an excellent waitress named Clara. She managed to answer my questions about the food and that made deciding what to order much easier. The food was presented beautifully and tasted exquisitely, I will definitely come back here again and try more of their menu. The portions was quite a lot that I had to take some home, I suggest the beef ribs, the flavour profile was different from the other ribs I have tried. Clara also made amazing drinks that completed the night. Well done for this establishment for giving my friend and I a wonderful night.

We ate early on a Saturday evening and had a great meal out. The staff were sweet to my two young kids and were attentive to our orders and needs. The kids were super impressed with the pizazz that came with our drinks but they did not enjoy their mocktail due to how incredibly sugary sweet it was. The steaks came out hot and cooked to temperature. The sides were also tasty and delicious. The creamed spinach was fabulous as well as the beef nachos. They had some awesome 90's hip hop jams playing and it made it a fun environment. While they had accommodations for kids, I 100% would go back with out the kids to enjoy a meal at an adult pace.
