Duck Frites — Restaurant in London

One of the MUST GOs at Maltby Street Market!

This stand serves the best chips (fries) that I had during this trip to London. The chips were crisp and FULL OF FLAVOR. They really mean it that the chips taste better when fried in fat... especially duck fat!

I passed by this stand and knew I just had to try it based on the aroma of chips and duck in the air! The confit duck added tasty flavor to the chips overall and cheese was on point. They give you the right amount to enjoy this bowl is chips in...

Maltby St Markets is just a delightful way to spend a bit of time on a weekend. I've only just discovered it myself, and I was drawn straight to Duck and Frites. Not a bad choice at all. The woman who served us was lovely, well-spoken, and engaging. She made suggestions that turned out to be very good choices. The Duck, and Fries with Cheese was SO GOOD! and very filling. There's much more to try at this market, but I can see myself getting Duck and Frites...

I stumbled across Duck Frite after a sake tour round the corner. Amongst 20 other street food stalls, this place stood out from the rest.

Pulled duck in a thick wrap with hoisin sauce and garlic, lemon and peppercorn sauce - AMAZING and only £9.

I opted for the triple cooked duck fat chips and they were equally amazing.
