Read moreI visited on 25/2/17 for a 1.20pm booking for brunch.
The waiter who addressed us as we walked was incredibly rude and made us feel as though we should not be in such an establishment.
He asked us why we were there, I explained to him that I had booked a table for brunch. A couple then walked in behind us and the waiter bypassed us and he asked them if they had a reservation - they did not. He then sat them straight away - whilst we were still waiting to be seated.
He then walked back to us and asked us " why are we here?" The way he said this was as though he didn't want us there. Again I explained I had booked a table. The omelette was perfectly cooked, and just what I was looking for today.
The full English is a meal for two, it's huge! There is no skimping here. It's like a food challenged, that my wife failed just for clarity.
The staff were lovely, the place has a lovely buzz going, not too loud but enough to be fun.
Oh, yes coffee... I have vanilla latte, and the vanilla syrup arrived in a shot glass, the detail is fantastic, to not assume how much vanilla you want in your coffee!
It's the little things surrounding great food that makes...
