Title: Good Food, Limited Options, and Room for Improvement: Patty&Bun, Liverpool Street
I recently dined at Patty&Bun in Liverpool Street and wanted to share my thoughts on the experience. While the food quality was undeniably great, there were a few aspects that left me with mixed feelings. With a focus on limited menu options, loud music, and the occasional misstep with beverage service, Patty&Bun fell short of its former glory. However, I appreciate the cleanliness of the establishment and would still consider visiting again.
Let's start with the positives. The food at Patty&Bun is undoubtedly of great quality. The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and crafted with care. The ingredients used are fresh, and the attention to detail in each dish is evident. If you're a fan of delicious burgers, Patty&Bun certainly delivers on taste.
However, one drawback of the dining experience was the limited options available. While the food itself was excellent, the menu felt somewhat restricted, leaving me craving a bit more variety. Expanding the selection of burgers and adding more choices for sides, particularly in the chips department, would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.
Another aspect that detracted from my experience was the excessively loud music. While I understand that some may enjoy an energetic atmosphere, the volume of the music at Patty&Bun was overpowering and made conversation difficult. Tone it down a notch, and the dining experience would be more enjoyable for a wider range of customers.
Additionally, there were instances where the beverage was served before being asked, which felt a bit presumptuous. While it may be a small oversight, it's important for the staff to ensure they follow proper service etiquette and allow customers to order their drinks in a timely manner.
On a positive note, the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. The cleanliness of the establishment reflects a commitment to maintaining a pleasant dining environment, and it did not go unnoticed. Kudos to the staff for their efforts in keeping the place tidy and inviting.
Overall, while Patty&Bun showcased great food quality, there were certain areas that left room for improvement. The limited menu options and loud music were notable drawbacks, and the occasional misstep in beverage service could be addressed. However, the cleanliness of the restaurant was commendable.
Although my experience was not quite what it used to be, I would still consider visiting Patty&Bun again in the future. I hope that the restaurant can regain some of its former charm by expanding its menu options and addressing the concerns raised. With a few adjustments, Patty&Bun has the potential to reclaim its place as a top dining destination in...

From the moment I stepped foot into this whimsical establishment, I was transported to a realm where hamburgers and creativity intertwine. The restaurant's decor is a delightful mishmash of vintage memorabilia, vibrant colors, and, oddly enough, a giant portrait of a mustachioed potato. It's like stepping into the mind of a mad genius, and I couldn't help but be captivated by its charmingly chaotic atmosphere.
Now, let's talk burgers. Oh boy, where do I even begin? The menu reads like a fever dream, with a delightful assortment of patty variations that would make any burger aficionado weak at the knees. Their signature creation, aptly named "Ari Gold' Cheeseburger" is a surreal masterpiece that will leave your taste buds bewildered and your Instagram feed begging for mercy.
For those seeking a touch of the exotic, fear not! The menu also boasts unusual options such as the "Portobello 'Dig It' Mushroom Burger (Veg)" and trust me when I say that this burger is not for the faint of heart. It's a fiery, extraterrestrial delight that will take your palate on an intergalactic joyride.
However, not all their creations are outlandish. The "Smokey Robinson" is a nostalgic nod to the traditional burger, but with an unexpected twist—think a secret blend of spices that makes the patty sing and dance with flavor, accompanied by perfectly melted cheese, fresh lettuce, and tomatoes that taste like they were plucked from the Garden of Eden.
Now, onto the service. The staff at this enigmatic eatery are a delightful blend of eccentricity and genuine warmth. From the moment you walk in, they guide you through this whimsical journey with impeccable hospitality. Don't be surprised if your waiter is dressed as a medieval knight or a time-traveling cosmonaut; they embrace the restaurant's quirky theme with unbridled enthusiasm.
All in all, this hamburger restaurant transcends the bounds of culinary normalcy, offering an experience that is both captivating and unabashedly eccentric. It may toe the line between parody and genuine innovation, but therein lies its charm. So, if you're ready to embark on an adventure that will challenge your taste buds and leave you with a story to tell, make your way to this magical spot in London city center. It's a wild ride you won't...

Patty and Buns unique signature gourmet burgers are contained on a small, yet varied menu, reasonably priced for the postal district, adjacent to Liverpool Street station. Expect to pay around £11 for a burger and fries.
From the menu I opted for the 'Smokey Robinson' burger which for taste and flavour, did not disappoint. As with every gourmet burger joint, a choice of finishes available from well done to waving at you from the wrapper just enhances this dining experience.
Seating is very much at a premium due to the size of the venue, yet optimised space used for diners has help add to the appeal. During my time there (6pm on a weekday rush hour) an at table service was available allowing for diners to kick back and relax awaiting their food.
On arrival, burgers are presented in traditional wrapping, marked up with P&B compliments, inclusive of a large wet wipe... Which trust me is was needed...
In general, the food being produced in this kitchen is of a high standard in taste and flavour, yet I did feel somewhat let down with a self destructing brioche, echoed unfortunately across the dining floor, meaning the majority of filling ended up in the wrapper on the first bite. Encompassing an over use of sauce saturated what should've been a reasonably dry bun, safer with a knife and fork than hands on....
Regardless of a bun disaster, leaving Patty and Bun fulfilled, did leave me wanting more, knowing that a return trip would result in an unnecessary food baby generation for the journey home.
All in all, recommended if your wanting a power bomb of meat, cheese...
