Title: Disheartening Experience with Delivery Service

My recent encounter with elite peri peri has left me deeply disheartened. Despite my explicit instructions and the critical medical situation I communicated, the delivery driver not only refused to bring the food up to my location on the 5th floor of the Guy's Hospital, but also displayed a distressing lack of empathy and professionalism. I am a dialysis patient who is connected to a machine, and the driver's dismissive attitude and repeated hang-ups on me were not only disrespectful but also posed a significant inconvenience and risk to my health.

Upon reaching out to the restaurant for assistance, I was met with an alarming level of indifference. Their disavowal of any responsibility for the driver's conduct and their refusal to address the situation added further frustration to an already distressing experience. Regrettably, the food never reached me despite my payment.

This entire episode has showcased a concerning lack of care, compassion, and accountability on the part of both the delivery service and the restaurant. It is deeply disappointing to have encountered such disregard, especially in a situation where basic understanding and assistance were crucial.

I sincerely hope that this review highlights the concerning nature of my experience and encourages both the restaurant and the delivery service to take a closer look at their customer service standards to prevent similar incidents...

It is unheard of for a company to be increasing the price of their food whilst the quality decreases.

I also think the older members of staff that all of a sudden are filling up the shop are the main problem- they come from an era where food was food and you were lucky to have it.

It is SOOO important they understand that we live in an age where ppl care how their food LOOKS as well as tastes- presentation, taste and quality is everything. They need to teach their staff about quality. The chicken even smells funny sometimes or is Rubbery, grey looking. Their chicken used to look and taste like KFCs (a good KFC with white firm chicken meat when you bite into it)

I have complained before and THIS will be my last time to complain.

They need to take advice from the fish bar next door bar - although expensive, they have MAINTAINED quality for as long as they have been there AND they have been there LONGER than Elite Peri Peri. Elite should really be ashamed

I am fed up of all these 'PFCs' starting out amazing then cutting corners for no reason.

Their chicken and chips used to be the BEST in Bermondsey: the freshness of the chips, the white chicken meat that wasn't soft and 'watery'.

They keep changing staff and it is important that they do not change quality.

food always arrives cold so the chicken is hard and wet from the steam and the chips are soggy and lifeless. Also have had items missing multiple times and each time I've called they say next time we will add it, just call. ended up almost 15 quid out of pocket, called just eat who said they called the 'restaurant' and they approved £2.99 for the missing wings on this occasion! Even thought I called before that and told the guy the whole situation. If you want parts of your order missing and to lose your money and/or like cold wet food go ahead, its exactly what you're looking for!

Thanks for the science lesson but I already understand why the food is soggy, as you can see from my first review. Secondly, you have only been there a couple of years, I know because I live in the area. Thirdly, you don't do compensation, which is also shown from my review.
