A brunch for two on a weekday just after opening. The interior decor is very nice, vibes of a classic American diner. Service was good, Amara at the counter was nice and friendly.
Food is expensive. No meal deal option so you pay approx 12£+4£+4£ for burger+fries+drink. I do like the choice of optional add-ons for the burger such as mushrooms, jalapenos etc - basically like subways.
The food however was terrible. Bread wasn't toasted, so it was soft and ambient-temperature. The salad (tomatoes and lettuce) were straight out the fridge and were cold, whereas the patty was warm. My brain was very confused - the first & second halves of the bite had different temperatures. Overall, it wasn't tasty and it wasn't even prepared well.
I realised I would prefer a much cheaper, commercialized meal deal from McDonald's. And I hate McDonald's....but at least you know what to expect and your food...

Disappointing first experience with Five Guys. Ordered delivery through Deliveroo. The bacon cheeseburger was missing. It was a painful experience trying to get a full refund from Deliveroo. They refused to refund me the delivery fee, even though I would have incurred another delivery fee if I ordered another bacon cheeseburger. However, this experience put me off so I did not place another order. This was NOT the experience I expected for a £50 order for 2 burgers, 2 portions of fries and 2 milkshakes. Honestly I don’t have any complaints about the food nor the general service that I received. However when I entered this establishment I saw this short male with glasses which I could only assume was the manger shout at an employee to run to the till and I will empathise the ‘RUN’ as he repeated it serval times to the poor employee before I had even got to the till which created a sense of urgency which then made me feel rushed.
