After experiencing bad customer service for the third time, I am definitely not going back there and need to write this review! The first time I went when it first opened, the coffee bar staff were awful. I ordered a mocha and I could see already that the girl serving me was rude because of the way she was talking to the customer in front of me. She came and said ‘hot chocolate?’ I said ‘I ordered a mocha’ and she replied ‘that’s what I meant’. If you don’t know your coffee from your hot chocolate you shouldn’t be working at a coffee bar especially one that is that expensive! The mocha wasn’t nice and in a paper cup and oily. Anyway I put it down to it just opening. I went again with my children and went to the pizza stall. I stood there for 10 minutes watching the staff argue amongst themselves whilst not even acknowledging me! It was horrendous. I had to say ‘excuse me can I order please?’ The staff were miserable didn’t know what drinks they had or what was going on it was awful. Anyway today as I walked along the river front my daughter wanted to get a coffee I said no let’s go to Bishops Park Cafe as after last time I didn’t trust going to your place. She chose to stop at Fulham pier and again the customer service was just horrendous! My daughter ordered an iced latte and asked if you had any syrup and the lady said no (also moody and no smile or nothing). The syrup was right behind her! When my daughter got her coffee in a small plastic cup she tasted it and threw it away. I then had to go to bishops park cafe and buy her another one. I tried to brush off the appalling customer service but after today I was livid! Three times I have been to Fulham pier and each and every time there has been a problem and staff are useless and just plain rude. There seems to be some good activities that go on there and I was so pleased when it finally opened as I am a runner and walker along the River Thames as well as socialising too and I am really really...
Read moreUnderwhelming & Disappointing - we attended the opening Sunday event looking forward to trying the deliciously presented foods on their website & social media. Many stalls stopped taking orders due to clearly unable to match demand & refunding customers We waited 30 minuits for 2 wraps which were cold Very young, rude, unprofessional, and clearly inexperienced staff members serving food. No obvious management presence and openly arguing with chefs.
The venue is however beautifully modern and the venue clearly put on great effort for children's' entertainment, music, and entertainers, which was really lovely to see. It is just such a shame that the catering side of the experience really outweighed and stained our perception of this venue, which will will not be attending in future as a result.
Upon speaking to management regarding our concerns, it must be said that they were extremely considerate and understanding, outlining the challenges with putting on such an event at scale and being really open with feedback. Although we had the above experience, I do genuinely feel management reflected on our feedback and made a concerted effort to ensure customer service...
Read moreTried the Fat Pickle burger. Staff woefully in- experienced with no system whatsoever for taking and delivering orders to customers. The burger tasted like a cheap supermarket one, swimming in grease with a puddle of it in the box it arrived in. The chips were undercooked. The sauces were not remotely pertaining to their name. I don’t usually leave poor reviews but I’m annoyed I spent my Friday night trying this and £15! Disappointing. Raps no better - my husband received someone else’s order. On the flip side - Fulham pier space wise is great and clean up staff are good. I worry however about the party vibe which is out of keeping...
