Having drove past Fullers brewery on a number of occasions in the past. I finally decided it was time to make a vist and take a tour.
Being a fan of London Pride Beer it was really interesting to see how it's made from start to finish. This is where our Brilliant tour guide Colin comes in first taking us through the history of the brewery. Next we headed into the factory and went step by step through the brewing process.
Along the way learning many different facts and figures plus ofcourse quite a few laughs throughout.
Once you've reached the end of process and see the beer being place into there barrels/casks. It's time to go and try the various Beers for yourself in a private bar for tour guests.
To summarise a great afternoon out, interesting tour, well stocked shop , friendly staff. Well worth a vist if your into your Beer.
The brewery is easily accessible by London Underground or a walk along the scenic Thames Foot path from Hammersmith for...
Read moreDid 1500 tour with Symone on 22 March and all expectations were exceeded. Tour very informative with lots of heritage and culture covered in addition to the brewing process. Fullers presented itself as the gold standard for employment leadership which has been compromised in recent times (thx Asahi) but employment commitment certainly has not! The buildings, equipment and site more generally are impressive. The beer absolutely delicious! I'm a huge 1845 fan but loved London Pride on cask and enjoyed trying ESB for the first time. The tour was relaxed and very fun. The tap bar and tasting at the end was a complete free-for-all with drink as much as you can in 30 minutes which the entire tour loved. Symone very personable and enthusiastic and we all enjoyed posing behind the taps for a picture. Clearly, this company still provide their staff with a degree of discretion which really comes across and is very...
Read moreAfter a previous visit in 2018, thought it would nice to visit again with the same group of friends, unfortunately this wasn’t as good the previous visit, Firstly we all weren’t that impressed with the guide, On our last visit we had a great guide, an older looking guy with a balding head (no offence) , this same guide was there on arrival but unfortunately we ended up with a different guide, this guide had blondish hair, he spent most of the time playing with his hair, and constantly trying to crack jokes which weren’t funny and at times it felt a bit awkward, Also on our last visit we had more than 30 minutes in the tasting area , to which we were given a half pint glass, which was filled every time we tried each product, This visit we had around 20 mins we to were given a half pint glass, which he only filled half full, Myself and my friends won’t say never, but very unlikely to visit again after...
