Incredible Service! Incredible food! Incredible Atmosphere!
Service: Whom I assume was the manger was running this location to perfection! This man was on his absolute game! I ordered something that had just ran out and I agreed to wait. He did not forget about me despite the busy rush. He reassured me while I waited. Then when it came, he brought me a free treat for the wait! 🥹💖
Food: I heard people raving about Gail’s chicken sandwich so I decided to try it out! It was freshly made. The bun was soft and the chicken perfectly spiced. The tomato inside had so much flavour and you could taste the quality. Additionally, the latte I ordered was great too!
Atmosphere: On a Sunday afternoon this location was quite busy. However I found a cozy seat by the window. It was a nice place for me to do some notes for school and enjoy my food. Also, they had a nice playlist going!
To the manager, if you see this, thank you for...
Read moreWe went there today to get our ‘too good to go bag’. There was no regular customers there and it was obvious that everyone there was for ‘too good to go’. The two staff ladies greeted the other three customers with smiles and let them pick whatever they want from the leftover pastries. However, they packed our bag without talking to us nor making any eye contact, and when I asked politely if I may get to pick the pastries next time, the staff told me that’s not an option and no one gets to choose. The staff also just lied to my face and said other people get to chose because they are paying for the pastry individually instead of collecting ‘too good to go’ bag, while I just heard the other staff wave their costumer goodbye and said ‘enjoy your too good to go bag’. I am perfectly fine with the fact that we can’t pick the content of the bag, but I am not fine with the obvious lies and...
Read moreI ordered an iced chai latte, but it was overly sweet. When I asked the barista if it could be made less sweet, she kindly made another one. Unfortunately, the second attempt tasted like plain milk with just a slight hint of sweetness. I suggested using that milk to make an iced latte instead, to avoid wasting the milk. The barista tried to fix it by adding more chai syrup, but it ended up tasting like sweetened milk with no real chai flavor. At that level of sweetness, there was no way to turn it back. Yet, that was far from what I expected for a chai latte as I can't taste any chai but only sweetness.
While I appreciate the barista’s efforts, if a non-sweetened version isn’t available, I would have preferred to be informed upfront so I could have chosen something else. That’s the kind of transparency I’ve experienced at Starbucks and other tea shops. Unfortunately, I left...
