If I could give this Café 10 stars, I would.
The café itself is a very homely, comfortable and pleasantly intimate space with seating for ~20. The atmosphere is incredible and oozes charisma and charm.
You're greeted with tasteful and relaxing music and the aroma of the home cooked food that's sitting waiting for you on the counter in a buffet style. Fresh flowers on tables, bottles of water and smiles await you.
Indulge as much as you like in an ever-changing array of delicious home cooked food that caters for all, from the most carnivorous to the more conscious vegans among us. A choice of at least 5 dishes, a well-made salad and a soup, fresh fruit and veg (which they'll juice for you) and warmed breads with authentic, hand-made Moroccan harissa, butter, oils, whatever you could desire. You can tell that the food is made with love and care using only the best ingredients.
The service here is second to none. Sani is a welcoming, kind, caring and attentive host; you'll want for nothing. The staff will go above and beyond for you and I have always left with more than a smile on face.
I have recommended this place to everyone I know in the area and even those who live further afield and I will...
Read moreMy girlfriend whom moved begrudgingly east from west London....generally had a comment about how east is no where as nice. She then mentioned she had found a great little cafe so I headed up. I think it’s family run but immediately it’s calm, understated but tasteful interior. Coffee selection is very good as far as milk offerings. Cakes and baguettes are fresh and very tasty. For me, the key thing about this place is the quality of the food made in house which is served on a buffet type in large ceramic bowls where you can help yourself. Think of a really good friend whom is an amazing cook and does it everyday. Fresh, Mediterranean type salads and roast chicken with all manner of dishes which for £10 I think is incredibly reasonable for what and qty of food.
The staff are always friendly and we genuinely look forward to going as we know the quality is high, in this relaxing tree lined corner of bow.
A real Jen to work, eat, grab a coffee and relax is if you are almost...
Read moreI must admit that I keep coming here! The French music transports me to a different era. The mixture of French and Arabic and the rich flavoursome food with interesting ingredients that are a delight on the palate. The owner is a chef of twenty two years who has worked in five star hotels for the past twenty two years.. and have brought with them a bit of Paris to Bow! Bow has a multicultural population and the cafe sits juxtaposed between expensive flats and council housing. The up and coming monied-younger generation with couples and toddlers, singletons and Cockney speakers is a delight to watch. This is how life should be. The cafe reminds me of the...
