I’m just a Hongkonger looking for standard Dimsum. And this is so far the biggest disappointment.
Food are not up to standard, we had brunch on Sunday. Half of the Dimsum menu is not available, and only steamed Dimsum are provided. It was like they just reheat the frozen food bought from supermarket and they can’t make delicate baked Dimsum at all.
The cheungfun (shrimp in rice roll) is the worst. You never pan fried a shrimp and put it into rice roll. You should steam the shrimp and rice roll together to make the shrimps fresh and crunchy. Some photos above are fake. Even the beef brisket fried flat noodles is terrible. The beef is not in a whole piece, the noodles are broken.
They should know how to make Dimsum properly as this is the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Instead of decorating the restaurant like a fine dining one, they should focus on getting better chef.
It’s empty when we walk in, and they asked for reservation or else we can only dine in for 1 hour. When they give us the bill after 1 hour, there are still empty tables.
£25/person for this quality? No way. You could have spent somewhere better...
Read moreWe were scammed by Gg reviews. Bad experience won't have 2nd chance. Lets start with the young rude Hong Kong waitress. I recommended she keep that attitude in HK don't pollute London. We enter not even 5min, we seated like 1 min she came to take order. Did you know how many dishes on menu how many pages? After we are ready and ask for her she still have the time feedback about us to her colleagues we need her now. Besides their poor service, food is not fresh. Fried wasabi prawn some is new some are last night leftover refry it. Smelly oil taste. The Malaysia horfun is horrible tasteless. Chicken feet's dim sum the worst dim sum not cooked well seasoning enough. Their special pork truffle dumplings long Bao it is undescribable. I lived in London for years worst neighborhood dimsum! If your service waitress is rude but your food is awesome I can understand but everything is bad! We left seeing many other tables didn't finish their foods
I recommended just visit Chinatown if grieving for dimsum. If anyone wants to verify my reviews most welcome go ahead you will never forget this " Good...
Read moreWe booked a lunch here for a party of over 30 people the day after our wedding and had a wonderful experience. The food and the staff were both superb. Prior to our booking we visited the restaurant to discuss our requirements with the staff and spoke to a lovely lady called Tracy who couldn’t have been more accommodating. She arranged everything beautifully. She took the time to sit down with us to take us through the menu and advised us on the quantity of food we’d need for the party, which proved to be perfect. We did a pre order on the food to make sure that the kitchen staff were prepared to cater for such a large group and the food all came out together and was all freshly cooked and delicious. We had so many compliments from our party on finding such a great local place for dim sum and Chinese food. Would definitely recommend. We had a lovely time.
Ps. Half the part were from Hong Kong and had a great time. One of them was a chef and loved it! What little left overs there were got snaffled by...
