Nice staff and atmosphere, relatively affordable drinks (by Wimbledon standards) and a very simple booking service, ideal for a quick pint or somewhere to play catch-up with friends for a few hours.

Edit: sadly it seems the team was not quite prepared for the Christmas season. We got a table for eight and the staff were friendly and accommodating as usual. The issue was, they were clearly understaffed; you can't have just one person both running food and working behind the bar at any given time.

The food has been good in the past but after last night I definitely would grab food ahead of time before visiting again. One order was forgotten and it was a 40-min wait on the rest of the food, and when it did arrive the halloumi bites were more batter than cheese and too greasy to enjoy. The squid wasn't nearly as good as I remembered and I had to ask for the BBQ sauce that is meant to come with it, which took another 5 mins to arrive. The chips were nice enough and were the best part.

The staff members were clearly run off their feet doing their best and I don't know what was happening in the kitchen but I'll only be coming back for...

I came here for a birthday celebration with my family after a recommendation from a friend.

We were a party of 16 and from the moment we entered the establishment we were greeted and made to feel very welcome.

The atmosphere was warm, vibrant and welcoming.

The tables were very clean and the decor is warm and relaxing.

The staff members were very prompt to take our orders and served us quickly despite the fact that they were very busy.

Upon perusal of the menu we couldn't resist but to order from the menu as it was so appealing.

The food came out very quickly, and was cooked to perfection and once we had eaten our tables were promptly cleaned.

In summary great food, great service and an excellent atmosphere.

I now frequent regularly and would highly recommend this pub to anyone.

Me and my family came here for Christmas dinner on the 25th December, a bit hesitant having never done anything like this before. What can I say, we were absolutely blown away! Having pre-ordered, the food was delivered when requested and everything ran seamlessly. Even though it was Christmas day, the pub had just the right amount of people in it, nothing too rowdy and nothing to desolate. The food was delicious and restaurant level quality; no pub grub here!
