I have to remind myself never to try a new place when I'm hungry. I was totally disappointed. The staff were not very well trained and made a couple of mistakes which is fine we are all human..the issues I had; 1 food took way to long to arrive and restaurant wasn't busy in fact almost empty 2 we had to ask about 15mins after ordering our drinks when they were likely to arrive 3 my order wasn't taken down correctly so I received the wrong dish for main - the starter chicken katsu instead of the main with rice 4 when my chicken katsu eventually arrived it was cold so I returned it and was already fed up by the delay in getting food and the order being wrong. One of the team did offer me the option to chose a different main. I told them no I didn't want anything else. By this point I'd had enough and just wanted to leave. 5 the sushi was okay but just okay like supermarket sushi is just okay 6 my friend had a tofu noodle dish for her main and found that to be underwhelming and lacking in flavour. She ate less than half of her main. I asked for the bill. I paid it including service charge and noted to the manager (I think) that I was very dissatisfied by the service and overall quality of this place..he offered to refund the service charge and I declined that was not my point..he then told me that the waiter was new and didn't know much yet. I wasn't impressed clearly there's a gap in training and having a supporting team is necessary not blaming your staff. I personally won't be going back here.

It was an awe-inspiring, stupendous, exceptional, righteous, authentic dining experience. The staff within the establishment in question were exceedingly amicable with their shining hospitality. On top of the admirable friendliness, the staff were unbelievably helpful in their recommendations in what exquisite morsel to dine that faithful Thursday evening. After a wait so short it could not be matched by the flash, the sheer excellence in food form that was presented to me and my dining partner was beyond human comprehension. Every mouthful was a rollercoaster of delight and exquisite sensations, uncontainable by words. To conclude the most eventful of evenings, a relatively small, just price was paid for a cuisine of the highest standard that was delivered that night. 10/10 would dine again.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Sushi Co in Wimbledon, and I must say, their Sushi boxes are brilliant and absolutely delicious. The freshness of the ingredients truly stands out. The salmon rice and chicken fried rice left a memorable impression on me, and I'm definitely planning to order them again on my next visit. What made the experience even more special was the fantastic shopper who went above and beyond by letting my son try their delicious and generous strawberry dessert with so much care and love. In summary, The Sushi Co in Wimbledon is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys Asian or Japanese food. Their Sushi boxes and other dishes are top-notch, and the friendly service makes it an unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommended!

Great food, Great value. Poor service experience.

So much better value than SticksNsushi a few doors down.

Food is excellent value and portion sizes of the hot food are generous.

It was a Sunday evening around 6 o’clock. The place had one other table and all the staff were behind the counter at the back of the store. Some chatting. We came in, they took no notice of us.

So we had to walk towards the counter before they realised we had come in. We asked for a seat and they were friendly and polite.

The place is really nicely decorated and clean. On the day it wasn’t busy apart from a few delivery drivers entering occasionally to collect orders.

You can order from a QR code on the table so we did this which was our first mistake.

Ordered 2 miso soups, one coke and then some starters are two hot mains.

The server brought one miso soup over after 10-15 minutes. It was delicious but we ordered 2??

The starters were lovely. The gyoza was very crunchy and a bit over cooked. But the food was incredible. The salmon tataki was the best I have ever had.

We finish our small plates and still no sign of our drink. My friend decided he wanted a drink so I ordered his drink on the table link hoping this would encourage them to bring the drink we had ordered before too.

The waitress after a few minutes brings a coke over but not my friends drink. She speedily apologises saying there was an error. We say it’s ok, she was very friendly so no issues there. She goes back to the counter and we are assuming she’s going back to get the fanta. She didn’t.

My friend had to get up to go and ask for it. Which was annoying. Surely this way of ordering is much more useful for their waiting staff but apparently not. I have no idea how you can mess up such a basic order.

Overall great value and great food. Service is friendly but our experience of it this time was poor. We will be coming back for sure but we will probably order directly from a person rather than using their app system.

I think you’ll struggle to get anyone’s attention if you don’t order using the table QR code. But we’ll see how it goes on our next visit.

The two stars is for the excellent food and value. The service is friendly but there doesn’t seem to be any management in the restaurant or actual service to customers dining in. Nobody checked on our table at any point other than to run the food from the kitchen...

We ordered a meal for Valentine's to be delivered to our home (15 minutes away). ETA was 20 minutes, at 19.45. By 20.05 the order hadn't arrived yet, we were told issues with drivers, very busy. We were understanding and were reassured our food would be with us shortly. At 20.35 we called again, the manager told us it would take 15 minutes max.. At 21.00 (that's over 1.5 hours since ordering!!!) we received a text saying Uber would deliver, ETA 21.20. We called and spoke to the manager, who at first refused to give us a refund, claiming the food was "prepaid". Eventually he agreed to give us a refund.

Except....when we went in there today, we asked about the refund and were told "i was going to speak to you about it" (when?how?!?). We offered to take delivery of our original order the same evening at 7.30pm. Bearing in mind this was at 2pm, you would think they would manage to get it all ready and delivered on time...but NO!!! 7.30pm - the manager messages to tell us the food is ready. Surprised, we said it should have been delivered by then. Messaged again when at 8pm the food still hadn't arrived, and were told issues with drivers and they will deliver it themselves. Whilst we appreciated the effort, the food arrived at 8.20pm (50 minutes oate!)...and 2 items were missing. Needless to say, this is our last experience with The Sushi Co.. We hope there is better service in person, but cannot vouch for their delivery,...
