First of all I don't usually leave negative reviews to anyone's business but I think the owner definitely needs to take heed and take on board reviews and improve the business. I woke up this morning with a very bad belly ache after eating here last night and needed the toilet several times. The food took around 30 mins to be ready from when we ordered. Considering this is not a restaurant but a fast food establishment- that is far too long. My expectations went even higher as I thought everything would be made fresh and taste good. My mother ordered Manchurian and crispy chicken and found both to be incredibly bland and lack flavour. I had salt and pepper which was average and Malaysian chicken which was something from the hellfire. Now personally I have a high tolerance to spice and love spicy food. Malaysian chicken however was something else, it made me tear up and was so spicy I could not taste my food. It's also affected inside of my stomach. I mentioned this to the staff and they said try chilli chicken next time. This is not a challenge restaurant, you should not be serving food that spicy. Overall I would say the concept of the restaurant is good but honestly they really need to focus in the kitchen and improve the taste. I would say the taste of the Chinese food in tooting market is much better and also value for money. I would urge the owner to taste the food in tooting market to see what good Chinese food tastes like. Finally I do not like the fact that the restaurant seems to slap down every negative review and call them malicious and fake. I will upload my receipt as proof I actually visited and I am happy to verify with Google, please actually take on board criticism and make improvements. There's a lot of positive reviews and it makes me wonder whether they are genuine or from people who don't know too much...
Read moreTried for the first time yesterday and didn't like it at all. Toppings classified as medium hot are wayyyyy too spicy!! I can handle my spice but this should not be called "medium". Everyone who ordered anything spicy from my family sad it was toooo spicy. Beef was sooooo dry, chicken was bland/flavourless and everything tasted the same. Defo not coming here again. Much better halal Chinese out there! I can probably go as far as to say that this was by far the worst Chinese I have ever tasted in my life.
Reply to owner: I won't be sending you my order number as there is no point. Firstly I don't want to be suggested milder options as I won't be returning, and secondly perhaps you can make those medium spiced dishes less spicy as by reading other reviews on here, I am not the only one to say that the food is over spiced.
Another thing which I find extremely embarrassing, is that whoever said that the noodles from the market were better, you called them all liars! As a business owner you should learn how to take criticism on board and try to correct your flaws instead of calling your customers liars! Everyone is entitled to their opinion and if they think the someone else makes better food than you, they are allowed to voice this opinion whether you like it or not. In fact, my younger sister who has tried the Chinese from the market, also sides with those reviews and says that it is wayyyyy better...
Read morewe went to Oodles Tooting yesterday evening , and order a variety of combinations to taste most of the things . and deeply disappointed with the food following reasons, Altough a decent size box of food in 8 pounds is not very expensive but Every thing stacked in a box you cannot taste or eat the thing you want to . I don't know what kind of Chinese was it , Chinese never eat such food and if it was pakistani/ Indian Chinese than even we don't eat such chinese . The Food lacks basic authenticity in it . Lacks basic flavours Most of the food was offensively spicy , yes we people from subcontinent like spices and I am very well tuned to spicy food but thay food was offensively spicy means it going to burn your tongue your gums and and inside as well. Basically they claim they make their food fresh but their rices noddles and saucy chicken were all pre made only the dry chicken was made in wok rest of the chicken I could feel the dryness and tightness in meat flesh that has been on the slow heat for a long period of time . We subcontinent of more precise pakistani don't grow best rice in the world and prefer a good quality rice the rice quality used was very cheap and has no taste in it .yes but all you could feel is spices .chilly flakes in everything .
All in all the food quality and taste was very poor and would...
