Hollyhock Vegetarian Fairtrade Cafe — Restaurant in London

I haven't been here in a while, I was last here in 2015 while studying abroad. I was staying at the college around the corner, was broke, and would come here all the time since the university was not friendly for vegan and vegetarian people. This place has absolutely amazing food and, even better - super affordable. I'd come here for breakfast and lunch frequently. Everything on the menu was delicious and you couldn't go wrong. They also served a nice selection of teas to choose from.

Great cafe in a very pretty location. Wonderful in the summer with beautiful views of the river. In winter they give you hot water bottles and blankets. Vegetarian cafe also many items for vegans and gluten free options. Lovely range of herbal teas. Staff are super friendly and polite. A wonderful cafe in a truly gorgeous setting in historic Richmond. A tranquil and romantic setting with creativity and homely tastes food. I would give this place five stars for the food, the coffee, and for the gorgeous location, but the organization is just appalling so I cannot give it more than 3 stars. There is no service at the tables so to order you have to wait in line for an infinite amount of time. If you order food and drinks you have to juggle between people, kids, animals, and what not to safely get to your table. The people working there do their best and look completely overwhelmed. I think it would be great for the owners to invest some money in some extra head count to serve at the tables.
