Poor customer experience, lack of clear information shared between the company and buyers, lack of having and relaying said info to staff members equally. This causes a lot of confusion to the customers receiving differing statements/answers.
I was supposed to attend last weekend with a friend but unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, I couldn’t (I had suspected food poisoning - didn’t know exactly what it was so I didn’t want to attend and spread it). We separately reached out to see if we could reschedule or request a refund and were told that same day refund weren’t accepted. This would’ve been completely understandable, if previously noted. We were told we would get a resolution from the host by Monday, that turned into Wednesday and now I’m left no choice but to reach out to my bank to...
Read moreI’m from America, but I was visiting London back in July. My first day there I was having a super bad day. It was my first time traveling alone, I was running on 24+ hours of no sleep, 8+ hours of no food, I was dehydrated, overheating (I was there during the heat wave), and my phone was at 9%. After attempting to go to two other cafes, I ended up here because I was just trying to find a place to charge my phone. When they told me that they didn’t have anywhere for me to do so, I ended up crying from being so overwhelmed. The workers were so, so nice to me and ended up letting me sit it this back area/meeting room so I could charge my phone, brought me cold water, and let me chill out and regroup myself for a bit. I will forever be so grateful for them, because without them my trip would have had a much worst start. If the owner sees this, please let Evie (at least I believe that’s what her name was) know that the rest of my trip was amazing, all thanks to...
Read moreHello Everyone. I am a danish traveller that had the treat of my lifetime at Travel Café. I have spend a business week in London and by a lucky touch of Fortune we passed by The Travel Café the very first day and found the Pop up kitchen of Carmine. The food was served with great style by Irene and is unique: it is mouth–, mind– and eyeopening. If you want to educate your taste buds run as fast as you can to The Travel Café since the pop-up kitchen is closing soon. The food you will get is made with talent, care, love and experience. Every dish has its own direction and horizon and sky. You can just sit back and wait for a culinary miracle arriving in front of you from a tiny kitchen. And that at a very affordably price. Thank you Carmine and Irene for sharing your passion for food with us, the fortunate passbyers, you treat everyone as in any Michelin star restaurant. We will never forget the lunches and breakfasts we had at this place! Thank...
